This is a very expensive hotel but you get a express pass for everyone who stayed there so that helped make up for the cost but you still had to pay for parking.

Five stars across the board. We came for the parks, and the convenience of a 10 minute walk from our room to City Walk was perfect. The amazing hospitality of the hotel and staff, although limited, was only an added benefit. Our family has decided that this is definitely something we will do again.

UPDATE: Since our initial visit to this hotel with a poor experience, we have stayed here again a couple of times and I have to say they have really picked up their game and it has now become one of the favorites for the family. The food experience was great at the cafe at the pool. Gym facilities are top-notch. Everything has consistently been working in the room and cleanliness is also where it should be for a $500+ night hotel. Further, the staff is GREAT! Super friendly and helpful! Thanks for those who read the feedback given on these platforms and taking action. Well done!I have stayed at many of the other Loews properties, but this one has to be the lowest of the of all I have stayed. Interestingly enough this is one of the more expensive and the issues that I encountered at this location were not present at the others. The only reason I gave this experience something greater that 1 star is the overall appearance of the lobby and the other common areas. No one can contest these are very nice and give a great presence when you are on a holiday or vacation. However, the issues that arose during my visit are the types of things you come across when dealing with a second-class hotel. First the room issues. While the room (3442) seemed nice enough, 2 of the amenities didn't work. The refrigerator simply was broken. It didn't work at any level, and was completely dead. I checked the thermostat and the plug and it was dead. So the food we had brought to be refrigerated was left to room temperature and the cream cheese for morning bagels was tossed. The second item was the coffee maker. Please note this is a very important feature for my family. If this doesn't work well then the whole day is set for a negative spin. I did get it to work after several attempts. My assessment is it has a short of some sort and needs some TLC. The last item I will classify as a room issue is the lack of simply soda/drink vending machines. On a late night soda run, I covered every inch of the hallways with no avail. I did find a service member around 1030 pm and asked her for some help. She told me that at this time of night if I wanted a soda or drink I would have to call room service. Really? Room service for a simple drink? The second major area of issues we had with the hotel was service. While some folks were really trying to help and provide good customer service there were some real misses. During my "hunt" for a soda and went to the lower floor and asked an individual working one of the restaurants for help. She informed me of what seemed like a long way to a lower level gift shop. I continued on my quest and after 10 minutes of looking I finally found the gift shop she was speaking of. Needless to say it has been closed for over an hour. Why would she send me to a gift shop that was so far away when it was closed?

Beatiful place, and excelence location but horrible services. The first night I realized my bed sheet had blood spot, I called reception an had to wait 1 hour to receive new sheets, the person that gave me the sheet was unable to set my bed. The second night, after we returned from parks, We saw nobody make our room, I make a complain in reception and have to wait 1 hour to receive towels, I also requested coffee and bodywash and still waiting. Third night will be a surprise. Put your money in other hotel, they dont deserve it.

When balancing the cost to the quality of our overall experience, I'm going to be fair and say 4 stars. The room was nice, but nothing extravagant. Especially for 600 plus a night. The main restaurant, I believe, was the Island grill was good. The food was what was expected. Our waitress was excellent. I can imagine they must have had a limited amount of staff in the kitchen, as ticket times were running long. The amenities at the hotel are nice. However, most guest will spend a large majority of their time at the park and not the resort. A great shower and bed are priority, and we had that at Cabana Bay for half the cost. If you're looking to stay at Pacific Royal for express passes, I understand. However, the overall experience lacked luster.

Expensive rooms for what you get. The service was good and friendly, and the location was great. It was just very overpriced.

The booking process online was a little confusing If I could change anything it would be, to offer room tours so guests can get a better idea of what they're booking. The resort itself was clean and well kept. Staff is attentive. Life guards at the pool at all times. I liked the location of the resort to CityWalk Very convenient walking distance. The atmosphere was pleasant not overly noisy. Our front desk checking staff member was Amanda, she was amazing. Very pleasant and welcoming. The check in process smooth and effortless. And the check out process is even easier. We had the option to communicate via text with staff and they were always available to answer any questions.
