We had a flat tire on a 2023 Ford Explorer and saved ourselves with the last bit of air to the Walmart autocenter, which then changed the wheel for us. Repair was not possible. We didn't call Hertz service at that moment because we had already been helped by the Walmart autocenter. Hertz won't pay us about $300 in damages, even though the tires are fully comprehensive. Never again Hertz!

RIP-OFF alert! Be sure to review the receipt on spot with the attendant when you return your car.I returned my vehicle fully refueled but I was still charged for fuel and service 10$ per gallon for almost 2 gal. I only saw that when I read the recipt from email after I left the airport.

Don't trust this Hertz location. Your card information will be stolen by their sketchy employees and you will be double or triple charged. The staff working on the evening of March 26th need to be investigated and fired by upper management. Hertz is losing business because of the people working here. I've never witnessed such unprofessional behavior from a car rental company in my life. They didn't even try to hide the fact they are being paid hourly and will get paid regardless of their quality of service. They did absolutely everything they could to go slow in hopes people would leave without their reservations. They acted fed up, yet WE were the ones who stood in line for almost an hour along with many other angry customers because the 3 employees at the counter on March 26th at 11pm didn't want to serve guests. As other recent reviews have mentioned, they cannot be trusted to even handle your card information. They tried to double charge us

Somehow my $500 rental was going to be over $1000 and the little meathead behind the counter thought it was funny. First and last time with Hertz. ????????

The person at the counter claimed that they didn’t have the SUV I reserved. She claimed they only had EV’s. She said they would have to clean an SUV but could not tell me how long that would take or even if it would be ready that night (it was 3am and we had been traveling all day). She was extremely rude and dismissive about not being able to provide the reserved vehicle. She sent me outside to wait, while I waited I was told to go to spot A222 where there would be an SUV for me. I got to the vehicle and loaded my bags, but there was no key in the vehicle. I went back to the counter and explained this to another person at the counter. They told me that there was no car in A222. I explained that there WAS a vehicle there, that my bags were in it, but there was no key in it. She looked around for a minute, then told me that there was no key for that vehicle. I asked for a manager, so I could finally resolve this disaster of an experience. She went into the back, spoke with someone, then came back out with a key. She handled me the key without any explanation and without saying another word. I’m never reserving a car through Hertz again after this. Enterprise has always gone above and beyond with customer service (or at least made sure the car I reserved was available). Hertz was an extreme disappointment and I discourage anyone from using them in the future.

Worst experience ever! They deserve negative stars. We booked a mid size SUV for a trip to Orlando. When we got to the MCO airport, we were given keys and sent off to find our vehicle. We received a crappy Chevy Equinox. It was visibly banged up and sounded like the muffler was gone. I went to move my seat up as it was to the dashboard and touched an oily, nasty substance. The car was a piece of junk and pedestrians turned to look at us every time we hit the gas, even slightly, as it sounded like a freight train. Not only that but my husband received an email the day after we returned home from our trip claiming WE had damaged the front end of the vehicle. We did no such thing. We were traveling with my teenage son and my father and my husband has a clean driving record. He would never do anything to put us in harms way. We mentioned to the worker when we dropped off the vehicle about the muffler but he seemed to brush us off... no apology, no recognition of the problem, nothing. Horrible, horrible company!!

Check your receipts. They charged me for fuel even though I returned it with a full tank. The Orlando location is the lowest quality Hertz I’ve ever rented a car from.

Poor and deceptive business. Spent 5 days in FL using my own iPass for tolls, they charged for tolls a week later when I already paid with my own device. Never once stated anything about their plate pass policy. Currently in a dispute with them sending over fake documents I never signed to my bank. They aren’t up front at all with their policies and will try to scam you to pay more for vehicles even after you reserved one in advanced. The Mco hertz is garbage. Use another rental service

The attendants without any kindness and with incomparable arrogance, the cars are not in good condition, it takes a long time for the vehicle to be delivered

I am the Executive Assistant for a Gold member. Hertz has the worst customer experience and being a Gold Member has zero benefit that I've been able to see. My job is to literally manage travel and reservations and I have yet to come across a company that wants to avoid actually speaking to their customers and/or offering any assistance like Hertz. What is the point of the gold membership? Just stick with Enterprise, Hertz is too much trouble with very little remedy.

We reserved a Minivan and when we arrived there was a line of people waiting on minivans or SUV's, after an hour of being told they would take care of us, we got a small car and got no discount, absolutely the worst car rental experience we have ever had.

This poor rating is for everyone EXCEPT Bab (pernounced Bob, I doubled checked the spelling with him) the lot manager at the Orlando Airport he gets a 5 star rating. Bab was the ONLY bright star in our whole rental experience. He provided excellent customer service, and help us with our problem. We rented a certain caliber of car. There were none of those vehicle in the Gold rows. The rest of the employees in that garage I would classify as village idiots! Everyone else could care less, put there arms up and said "no hablo english" except for one man that tried to pull us out of the car we did select. He insisted on arguing with us telling us we couldn't take that vehicle. The only solis was when Bab corrected that employee while I was standing there. Bab was kind enough to let us take the car and even walked us through the exit window.Florida Hertz Management Team give Bab a raise, he deserves it if he has to work with all those other idiots!!!!

I'm currently renting a vehicle through uber hertz...several drivers including myself are getting charged twice on our cards ...one is the actual payment and the second one is a hold which can take several days for the money to go back into the account..which is causing previous transactions to be unpaid...don't know why this is happening every week but they failed to tell about this until the money is taken from our accounts...l something needs to be done about this matter asap
