I had an absolutely horrendous experience with Hertz Rental Cars. The vehicles they provided were in appalling condition. The Ford Expedition was in very bad shape and reeked of marijuana, while the Ford Explorer smelled strongly of cigarettes. The customer service at the location was awful. My advice: steer clear of this place at all costs.

If you are going to have Teslas make sure you have a charger at your facility and not take all 13 chargers at the Florida Mall

Horrible customer service. The office looks like a kinder gardener set it up, the customer service is even worse than the presentation. Not sure how corporate can leave such biased, and ignorant staff to be clocked in representing such a massive business. Would not recommend.

Quick service. Back on the road within minutes of reserving a rental. While my vehicle was being repaired at another dealership. Hertz associate *Limuel (apologies if misspelled) was very helpful and knowledgeable.

The people were nice enough considering the situation but I find in very frustrating that Hertz doesn’t completely support Active Duty military serving their country! Just returned from an overseas assignment, ran into some car issues and was trying to rent a car for 1 day until repairs could be complete. My Texas drivers license expired last year however with an active military ID, it is still valid. This means nothing to Hertz and they wouldn’t even waive their policy. Unsat!

The staff here are very nice and I feel like they do their best, but this location is horribly managed, and Hertz corporate customer service is nonexistent as a rule. They seem to be very understaffed and their fleet of cars are in very rough shape.I rented a car for two days through insurance, where I was to pay 20% while the insurance company was to pay 80%. I was told I'd pay $13/day plus taxes. Somehow that came out to me paying $110 for a 2-day rental!Hertz Billing claims that I turned the car in on the 3rd day. I turned the car into the body shop as directed by Hertz, probably because they didn't want to have to drive me back to the body shop...so now they conveniently say I turned the car in later than I did and I have no recourse.Then the Billing department tells me that on insurance claims, they don't charge per 24-hour period, but for each calendar day, so I get charged for the Monday pickup, Tuesday, Wednesday (the day I returned the car after having less then 48 hours), and the Thursday they conveniently tacked on that I didn't even have the car.Of course the insurance company only authorized payment for 2 days, which makes sense because I had the car for less than 48 hours. So Hertz then charges me for 2 additional days. So really they have been paid twice for the same 48 hour rental.In total they received $185 for a 48 hour rental of a filthy dirty car with dangerously bad tires. Hertz will not have my business again, ever.

stay away they will charge you for anything they can and the customer service is terrible !!!!! no one ever picks up the phone and the corporate office barely speaks english and won’t do anything for you!!!! enterprise will pick u up drop u off and answer their phones!!!!! worst car rental service ever!!!!!

Had an absolut nightmare rental where I drove from michigan to Florida for work but brought the family. Had more work come up and tried to extend my reservation 4 DAYS BEFORE THE RENTAL WAS DUE just to find that they had sold the car and would not let me extend the rental. Argued on the phone for hours to finally be told that I can return the car to any hertz location. Went to one other hertz location before coming here THAT WAS ALSO NOT HELPFUL AND INFURIATING BECAUSE IT WAS ON GOOGLE MAPS BUT THERE WAS NO HERTZ just to get to this location to be told they only deal in warranty and fleet, no personal rentals. HAD TO DRIVE FROM THIS LOCATION TO THE AIR PORT AND PAY EXTRA TO RENT A NEW CAR FOR THE NEXT 5 DAYS THAT I NEEDED FOR WORK AND TO BRING MY FAMILY HOME BEACUSE THE EXTRA HOUR OF DRIVING MADE ME MISS THE RENTAL RESERVATION I BOOKED TO SAVE ME FROM THIS NIGHTMARE. WILL NEVER RENT THROUGH HERTZ AGAIN.

I rented a car from your location at 9900 S Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando, Florida 32837 Branch Manager Kyle Verno. I had my car serviced at Central Florida Toyota which Toyota offered me a rental at Hertz rentals located inside of Tropical Ford. I received a Ford mustang with a push start feature. I guess the key fob isn't working properly, so when I went to turn the car on this morning the key wasn't being detected by the car Kyle told me to pull the cover off and try to wiggle the battery to get it to work. I call the location and spoke to the branch manager Kyle because I had to go to work and return the car this morning. Kyle was unable to help me or provide with any answers or solutions, which begs the question why give me a car when I can't use it for the main feature of driving and then expect me to bring it back on time. Couldn't offer me a shuttle or any time that a shuttle could pick me up if there is one. Not only that, Kyle couldn't apologize for the trouble, when I asked for a Lyft/Uber he told me he couldn't help me with that either, I was completely stranded. If the car that I rented was supposed to work and it wasn't working then why should I have to pay for a Lyft/ Uber. I didn't feel comfortable with turning the car off to refill it with gas so Toyota actually took the liberty of filling the gas tank of your Ford Mustang and my personal car. Total horrible service by this location. I requested the District managers phone number but Kyle refused to give it to me so I got his email address. I hopeTo never deal with this location ever again.

Terrible company they reported my car stolen even though i rented the car and have all documents. I am in the process of sueing them now. Found out this hapoened to 183 other people just in the last 30 days! The CEO of hertz even apologized on national tv. What a terrible company
