Terrible experience. No cars available similar to what I booked. They wanted me to drive either a pickup truck or a huge van. The one car (SUV) that they had for me was not working. The Apple car play was broken so I had to do a 4 hour drive without the screen displaying maps. Blake told me he’d email me later and arrange for an exchange at my destination but I never for an email from him. When I called this morning the guy said he’d contact Blake. Nothing. Now it’s closed till Monday. I’m a gold member- for what? Hertz you’ve got to do better than this. Abysmally poor service.

First of all Hertz Customer service is a disgrace! Impossible to get a real person on the phone. Try calling the number for 6001 Destination Pkwy, Orlando, FL 32819 No one ever answers ! I reserved a vehicle and when I went to get it it was not available I was given a way lesser vehicle but was told that the manager in the morning would adjust the price I paid for my vehicle that was never cleaned! If I was the Hilton that this hearts is located in I would be embarrassed and throw them out of my building

I received a 2022 Dodge Durango R/T and it was infested with roaches! So disgusting!!! I would NOT recommend Hertz to anyone based on my experience!

This location may not have the best Google rating but the gentleman that helped My wife and I could not have been nicer. I’m really upset at myself for forgetting his name. He deserves a shout out!

Worst place ever! Will cancel your reservation and hour before pickup due to no cars. Front desk service representative is rude and unapologetic.

I CANT EVEN GAVE A STAR WORST EXPERIENCE EVER I GOT AN UBER FROM MY DEALER BECAUSE MY CAR IS CURRENTLY IN SERVICE AND UNFORTUNATLEY I COULD NOT GET THE CAR RENTAL BECAUSE MY DEBIT CARD WAS REJECTED 2TIMES AND THE REPRESENTATIVE COULD NOT PROCESSED THE TRANSACTION AGAIN BECAUSE MY BANK SEND ME A FRAUD ALERT I TOLD HIM TO PROCESS AGAIN AND HE DENIED IT BECAUSE THEIR SYSTEM WILL NOT ALLOW TO DO IT. do not rent any car from this location when i ask to speak with the manager he said that the manager was not available.i lost some hour from my work as well. very bad place

If I could give less than one star I would. I had a terrible experience with the representative that helped me. I believe his name was Anthony. I had and am still having a terrible experience with the vehicle as well. I made a reservation ahead of time through the travel agency we use for my job (and through which we get a corporate discount). When I showed up, the rep was not very helpful and was barely paying attention to the details of my reservation and was not great at explaining anything. He could not confirm any of the details of the reservation I had made ahead of time. He also was offering me services by their name without explaining what they were unless I asked detailed questions. He had earbuds in the whole time and I’m not even sure he was fully paying attention to me and wasn’t on the phone at the same time (because his cell was in his hand for most of the time). On top of that, I had a car seat in my reservation and he said he didn’t see one. When he finally brought me a car seat, he brought me one that was ripped apart and heavily damaged (because he wasn’t paying enough attention to what he was doing). When I rejected that car seat and pointed out the damage he brought me another one that was only suitable for younger children, even though I needed one for a 6 year old. All of this was going on while I had a clearly sick 6 year old waiting. I had even called ahead and told him I would be late to pick up the car because my daughter was sick. So, I had to end up driving over 2 hours to Delray with my own travel booster car seat that was uncomfortable for my sick child and not meant for that long of a distance. In addition to everything above, the car itself is very damaged, both inside and out, and wasn’t even cleaned beforehand. When I mentioned the damage, the rep said he took pictures of everything. I’m not sure how he could’ve when he only took a couple of minutes to her the car and give me the keys. He didn’t mention the damage until I called it out. So then after dealing with the horrible customer service, I had to make sure I took the time, with a sick kid waiting, to try to document all the damage or risk having to fight with Hertz about it later. On top of that, the wheel alignment is off and it seems like the car isn’t even that safe to drive. This whole experience is unacceptable. As if the above weren't enough, I made a complaint to Hertz when I got to my destination and requested that I be able to switch my car. I was told twice by Hertz online customer service reps that someone from Hertz would reach out to me to help. No one reached out to me and when I reached back out to Hertz to complain, they basically told me they can't do anything and I need to complain in person and try to figure it out with a local Hertz location. I can confidently say that I don’t think I’ll ever feel comfortable using Hertz again, at this location or any other location. I’ll have to go back to using Enterprise only. The few bucks you will save using Hertz instead of Enterprise isn't worth the headache or horrible experience. I will also suggest that my company stop recommending that our employees book with Hertz.

Was very apprehensive about renting the car from Hertz because of the low ratings but the experience turned out to be very smooth from the checking in of the car, to the return! We rented a Ford Mustang and was very apprehensive that there might be a last minute cancellation but Hertz actually went all out just to make sure we have the car we rented. I think this service deserves a 5 stars for their effort! Will consider Hertz again!

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION! THEY GAVE MY RESERVATION TO SOMEONE 4 HOURS EARLIER THAN MY RESERVATION TIME. When I received an Amex Alert for a charge on my card, I called Hertz to cancel because it would not let me cancel online and I no longer needed the reservation. I was told by the agent that my reservation was canceled. Yet, later that night, I saw 4 emails of rental agreements and the renter taking out 3 different cars. I then again called Hertz and was transferred to another department that told me to call the billing department the next day when they were open. After the 3rd call, I was told that I would not be charged for this rental, yet I have a charge anyways. I have rented many cars from Hertz, but always at an airport location. I will now be wary of renting from these little satellite offices. It doesn't appear that they check IDs or credit cards when giving out rentals.

Open… but it took over TWO HOURS to get my rental. I’m in town for business and the 2 hour delay severely effected my work schedule. Very upset with this Hertz.
