I first joined in 1997 and they were wonderful, they acted in the manner of a cooperative and you were treated as a valued member. Over the last decade they've changed, and seem to have the philosophy that your purpose is to generate maximum profits. They now have all the fees and horrible interest rates of a large commercial bank with all the inconveniences of a credit union with limited locations. The customer service is a shadow of it's former self. I've only had two questions this year, each time left me steaming. I had a question about my late wife's account in summer of 2024 and the supervisor that was called to answer my question talked to me with the tone of a miserable Catholic school nun and I was a third grader who laughed at something stupid but funny. Called in Dec 2024 from a bank with a yes/no question about different routing numbers for a wire transfer and the person on the phone told me to go to the website, after I already told them I was in the lobby of the bank and just needed to know if there were additional routing#'s different from the one on my checks. Avoid at all costs.

I’m so very thankful been going to Insight since I was a kid, I had a big problem and Jarred Schulte really solved my problem at the down town branch in Orlando, An I’m thankful for Marquis at the Lake Mary Branch for always having Patience with me 🙏🏽❤️🙌🏾

I see why this company has the rating it has. I made my first call to this company and spoke with a lady named Nicole, when on the prompts at the beginning of the call I requested a operator because I was unsure of who I needed to talk with. NICOLE answered the phone and I asked a question about my application, she replys with her answer and I said I would like to speak with someone about and she started laughing at me. I asked for a supervisor after that and she said she was a supervisor. So with this company the supervisor must be the operators as well. The most unprofessional group of people I have ever worked with.

Oh I had a desperate problem and Shannon and Phillip at the lake Mary/ Heathrow branch helped me out so much with my insufficient funds. I recommend all to bank at Insight. Believe me And Shannon called me back on the same day, so I could sleep in peace. She promised to call back and she did

Your money is not safe and secure at Insight Credit Union. Their Cyber Crime software (suspicious transaction customer notification) is lacking and not as effective as other banks. Lost over $4,000 as a result. If you can't trust your bank to safeguard your money, which is their number one job, you need to bank somewhere else. I learned that lesson the hard way!

This is to personally thank Mr.Ronney Aleman (NMLS 552872) like a true genuine brother, for his outstanding work on Wednesday evening almost pretty close as Google Maps made me run around- I am yet to send a notation to them..
Meanwhile, i thought i should send good thing/good note for Ronney - who is outstanding as always- i knew him from Apopka Branch- he deserves to be a top tier in the management..even though Mr. George CEO is there and Mrs. Lauren or ...she used to be AVP...way back in 2012 or 2014 i cant remember the year...I can check when I wrote to her

Please ensure to send a good Kuros or Appreciation in his record for Mr. Ronney please...he is very thorough, speaks very little, highly professional , ethical.. Talks only the points....to the customers...exactly...Cares for the branch , employees and customers at the same time.. Well rounded good person.

Member services are limited at this location and the company has no intention on improving their service. Very disappointing that after 10 years and multiple accounts they would rather see us find another credit union then provide reasonable customer service.

Insight Financial is a joke...Do not do any banking with these people. When banking as a spouse, they will not speak to the spouse even if the partner has the social security number, the birthday, the account number, the pin, and the associated address. How is it that a spouse can make life or death decisions for their partner, but cannot look into a fraud alert on their partner's card. Really??? Banking with no SOUL or common sense...FYI, rather than providing competitive loan rates; they find it more important to send you life insurance propositions every other week...but will not assist with a fraud alert. Called the local office to speak to the bank president about their policy. I was placed on hold for what seemed liked forever, and then they disconnected me.

I joined Bell Tel Credit Union the day after I moved to Central Florida in 1992. They have since become Insight Credit Union reflecting a wider service population than its original charter.Until relatively recently, service rendered and products available were exemplary. Over the last 10-12 years, they have systematically closed branches and moved the downtown location several times. The courtesy and helpfulness of the employees has waned over that town span as well. Yesterday I went into the Downtown Gore Street location with two checks to cash and deposit. It easily took more than 15 minutes to complete that simple transaction. That's not counting the wait time to reach the front of the very short line. The only reason I am still a member is that I have so many automatic monthly transactions set up and don't care to have to change all that stuff.

Shady character. I used the coin counting machine. And it was not reading my coin deposits. Marina came out of nowhere, I assume she was the manager and started to lecture me on how to use the machine. I continued putting coins in. And when I was finished .she opened the tray under the machine. And there must of been at least $30 in coins, if not more. I said thats my money. And she told me it was other people's money. I knew the machine was malfunctioning from the start. She only gave me $2. I feel like I was robbed. Ironically at a bank . Be careful at this branch with the coins. 129 gore st. Downtown Orlando
