Great pizza, big portions, great service - our waitress, Alexandria, was amazing! The dessert we ordered wasn’t very good, but it was an overall pleasant experience.

It gets a 2 because of the great service. It is truly a place where they know you by name. However, the food was not good past the apps and pizza I saw. I ordered a Turf & Turf Burger that came out ice cold. They graciously took it back and brought me a new burger. The bun was visibly soggy by the time it got to me and when I picked up the medium burger, grease literally pooled on the plate. It went back as well. I switched to the crawfish chowder which was not bad.

One of the worst places to eat while visiting Universal Studios. This restaurant also damages the Royal Pacific Resort’s upscale service experience. While staying at the resort, we made reservations to eat here. Upon arrival, the hostess looked as if she was forced to work there. She left her bag of greeting customers and smiles at home. It took her about 5 minutes to locate our reservation, while the restaurant was mostly empty. She thankfully located us and we were finally seated. Then came the food. Fish and chips were served room temperature and so was the burger. We returned it and the 2nd time around was not any better. Food and overall experience was subpar. Fish was way overdone and mostly breading. Our server was nice enough to credit one of the kid’s order, but does not negate the overall bad experience. Not looking for bill credits, just a good experience which was not in the play for us this night.

The pizza tasted like plastic and had no tomato sauce on the base at all. Would 100% not recommend. Cost $70 dollars for food that we just threw away. The service was ok and was reasonably quick, but the restaurant was empty.

Will not return. Last year we went and were disappointed, tried again, was more disappointed.

Bad service, short staff, mediocre food. For how great the hotel is I’m surprised this is one of the main grills.

Medium rare burger came out rare not sure if it being warm would make it better but it was bland.. Asked for mustard 3 times before I got it resulting my my burger being cold by the time I received mustard. Asked for ranch 4 times was ignored I'm assumed because we never recieved it. The server JuanR, is why I would never go back to Jake's. The Buffalo chicken pizza was good.Never again.

Seated and drink orders taken. Ordered a Bloody Mary- when it arrived asked if it was a double. Apologized that I hadn't specified when ordering but she never offered either. She asked if I'd like a shot brought out to add to my drink. I asked her if it wound incur a specific charge which she said yes, $10 for a shot or $3 to make it a double, so I told her to take it back and make it a double instead. They didn't make a double however, just poured some out of the glass and added a shot. The Bloody Mary was very underwhelming. Ordered a sandwich with a salad. Wrong dressing was on the plate but didn't know until I put it on the salad. Waitress never came by to ask how lunch was - she was busy solving world problems with the hostess. By the time she came by. We were finished and despite her offering to have another salad made she seemed to not understand that we were finished. I guess other people accept this kind of service. I do not. There's plenty of other options available at universal that exceed what this place does. My wife had wanted to come here as it was promoted as an aviation themed place. The only thing aviation about it is the images with airplanes on them Band the sign at the front door. Poorly executed idea. Service just as bad!

We stopped in here for lunch prior to attending the Orlando Informer Meetup on December 8 2023.We shared pretzel rods, wings, and sweet potato fries. All three items were excellent. The pretzel rods were tender and tasty. The wings were sizeable with a mild Buffalo bite. The sweet potato fries were fried well with a crispy exterior and a tender interior. The service was a bit slow, especially given how few customers were in the restaurant at the time. We would definitely return and look forward to trying other items on the menu.

My family and I had dinner on Saturday December 9th. We were first impressed by the atmosphere and relaxing feel to Jakes. Our server Lala was one of the most sincere and pleasant servers I have had the experience of dining with! She was friendly, attentive and knowledgable. The pretzel rods were the best pretzels in all the parks, the beverages were top notch and our entrees were excellent! Nothing but the best things to say about our overall experience!Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu that is not your typical low end options.

We came here for a lunch on a Saturday since we were staying at a hotel nearby. It wasn't busy inside, only a few other tables. The staff were friendly however it did take awhile for the entrees to come out even though there were only 3-4 other tables filled. Food was tasty, good portions, reasonably priced for being in a hotel. The inside is decorated with items and homage to the "fabled South Seas explorer Jake McNally".

The place is massive! It's basically a nice Convention Center getting around is not exactly easy because of the immense size of the place. The Atrium in the middle was nice but due to its size I don't think I'm going back I would stay on one of the Resort properties for less

This restaurant has an identity crisis. There's a crashed plane outside that (if I remember correctly) Jake flew and he decided to start this restaurant. I was expecting the atmosphere to have some sort of explorer theme, but instead we were greeted with a bland generic atmosphere that was exactly the same as the restaurant across the way (Islands Dining Room). The pretzel appetizer was really good and our entrees were fine enough...eat here if you don't feel like heading over to City Walk, not because you want an exciting meal. You won't find that here.
