OMG!!! I was merely looking for some Caribbean vegetables and spices but to my delight found a well seasoned selection of cooked foods on the hot bar. This truly is a hidden gem that this tourist was fortunate enough to stumble upon. Do yourself a favor and bypass the high priced restaurants and try a meal to go with the locals!

Exceptional food and service. Very reasonably priced for the potions. The two of us got the beef steak and extra plantains on the side and we couldn’t finish it.

I've been coming here and the food is amazing everytime. The tends to get long depending on when you come in but it's definitely worth it. Everyone who makes the plate, the food, and runs the counter is so nice. It's worth the food and you can get other groceries while you get lunch.

Food isn’t as good as it used to be. It tasted like they use heavily chlorinated water to cook with. The food was only $6 but they need to do better for the community they’re serving because that food could be all they can afford.

Me encanta el lugar pero por primera vez después de más de 3 años visitando tuve mala experiencia. Pedí un plato de arroz con carne guisada y sirvieron el arroz y la carne, te preguntan si quieres caldo y te desaparecen el arroz con caldo y la carne sin nada de caldo, por lo que tuve que pedirle un side aparte de arroz. Pedí arroz con carne guisada y el plato parecía un asopado. Para nada de atenta estaba la chica por andar conversando con la compañera.

I went here for lunch today. First time at this place. Food was delicious, and the staff are very nice. Quick service. Steak was delicious as well as the yellow rice and beans and sweet plantains. I'll be back.

This place needs to be shut down it is horrible! It stinks like hot garbage which you can see and I picked up a Farina Negra and there was a bug crawling on the box! It’s been 2 hrs since I left and the smell of hot garbage is still in my nose. Health inspectors need to shut this place down.

I ordered a side of fish and got the most wettest piece they could find. Went back in to change it and was greeted with nasty looks and bad attitudes. Also ordered the grilled steak and received more fat than meat. I wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone and I will not be returning there.

I am in love with this place. My best friend brought me here years ago, and I never stopped going back. They serve food with love and fill your plate like you are family. Not only is the food good but the staff their is so polite and welcoming. Everyone I've brought here is just as addicted as I am. If you are in Orlando, you have to stop here!
