I have already spent over $3,500 purchasing a compressor online from your company. I came back to buy air hoses, filters, and fittings, but your staff showed no motivation to assist. This level of service is unacceptable, and I do not understand how the business continues to operate with such disregard for customers.

My first and last time using Northern Tool. Do not order anything online to pick up in store, you will regret it. I ordered a in-stock standing shelving unit and when I got to the store they told me it was shipping to my house. I told them I chose in store pick up and their website says they have a couple in stock. Oh yea it’s in stock but you chose yo have it delivered. I look at the order and it have the delivery address as the store. The cashier is bewildered and asks her manager who after some explaining rings me up for the unit in stock and tells me since they’re online system is separate I have to call them to do the return on this order. I call bounce from one customer service representative to the other. The order is showing waiting to be picked up by carrier. This customer service representative tells me it shipped. I asked, but it’s still at your facility waiting to get picked up. She says yes, but it’s shipped. So obviously calling shipping and telling them to remove the shipping label. It’s much too much work. I’m told I have to wait till it gets to the store to do the return. I called the store the day after it gets there and employee answering the phone has absolutely no idea what my order is. Can’t find it in the system so tells me it’s probably been returned already. I call back in a week after not being issued the return they say oh yeah, we’ll get that handled for you. It’s been returned. Still no money back in my account. So I called the next week and the customer service rep says you have to provide the store with the return number that we give you. I ask, can’t you just call the store and give them the number or communicate in some other way? The customer service rep says they’re two separate systems. this company is filled with a bunch of low-grade incompetent employees I really should’ve just stuck with Lowe’s or Home Depot.

I bought a new generator from this store, and it was malfunctioning. I took it under warranty for 15 days, and it still malfunctioned. Now they won't give me my money back, nor will they replace it. I was treated poorly by Manager Crystal at store number 615. Don't buy the Powerhorse generator.

We went to do a warranty exchange for a trailer we bought there maybe a couple of months ago, and the person conducting the transaction was extremely unprofessional, and made rude accusations about how this shouldn't be a warranty exchange because we were the cause of the damage on the trailer. It was an extremely odd situation, as warranty exchanges are typically reimbursed by the manufacturer. Super uncomfortable experience. He even tried to keep our license plate which belongs to us for the new trailer. I'm not interested in dealing with people who conduct business in this manner.
