If I could leave zero stars, I would. We had a confirmation for a car rental on Wednesday January 20th. When we arrived after a $25 uber ride, we discovered they decided to close for the day. Thrifty did not believe us when we called to see what was happening. They said the should be open but the paper on the wall said they would be closed. We were left stranded with no car because someone decided to take a day off. We were eventually refunded but it was a headache and no help was given by Thrifty to at least try to work something out.

They’re scam artists. Don’t rent your car here. Charged my mom $400 for smoking in her rental when she has never smoked one single day in her 50 years of life. Plus they pretended you use a ton of tolls and add a bunch of money to your bill. Do better, I hope you get shut down. There’s literally tons of better car rentals out there that don’t need to scam to make money, they just know how to make money off running a business without scamming

Amena. I’m unsure of spelling was rude and short. Terrible customer service. I made a reservation in the AM which I’ve done tons of times before with thrifty and was told that they don’t honor same day reservations. I don’t expect much from a rental car service other than politeness and honoring the reservation which she and thrifty failed at.

this Place is a joke . few years ago they gave me a car without a tag , and I was supposed to go to Miami, thanks God we realized that there was no tag while we were still in Orlando. When I went back to return the car , the front desks people were careless . no body apologized due the fact that they gave me a car with no tag . Last month I rented a car there , I told the desk guy in advance that I might be returned the car a little late so he can charge me in advance for an extra hour or so but he said that’s fine just drop the key in the box outside . When I get my receipt, they charged me for an additional day plus a $16 late fees . I returned the car on Friday around 6 pm , However on the receipt they put that I returned the car on Saturday at 9:38 AM . I called customer service to clarify the dates and the charges but she was only sorry and said that’s their terms of policy .

Best location to get rentals from because customer service is top notch: fast, friendly, efficient, professional, and customer centric.

This company has taken advantage of people during a pandemic. My family spent money on a rental for a wedding. The wedding got postponed due to Covid-19. All other services, flights and hotels refunded us no issues. They refused to refund us during a worldwide crises. Extremely scummy people and company. Wish I had read the reviews and warned my family. We WILL be contacting the Better Business Bureau. Shameless Greed.

Check which terminal your airline is, which will determine if you return your car in “A” or “B” (letters correspond with terminal) - otherwise, prepare to walk (indoors, at least).

I have an email confirmed reservation for this location. I took a 25 minute Uber ride to get to the location, leaving my wife and child at the hotel. Upon arriving, the desk simply stated they were overbooked and had no more cars for me. They offered no additional explanation or help, but just left me stranded. I had to walk across a highway to find an enterprise... I’d recommend staying far away from this place!

Renting from Thrifty at the Crowne Plaza on West Colonial Drive in Orlando, Fl was horrible! We were given a car that had just been dropped off. Literally! When we go to the car, the gas tank was empty. The gas indicator light was on! That’s how empty it was. The car was filthy! My kids did not even want to sit in it, that’s how filthy it was. My husband goes inside and tells the employee who assigned us the car that he wants a different car and explains to her why. She tells him that if he wants he can wait for the car detailer to come clean the car (he was not on location) because they had no other cars available. Mind you, there were at least 4-6 cars belonging to them, in the lot. She also told him we would not be charged for dropping the car off with no gas because it had no gas in it when we picked it up. She even told us which gas station to go to because we didn’t think we could make it to a gas station with whatever gas fumes it had left in the tank. Anyways, we take the car because we had no other choice and felt lucky that we even got one because there were customers being told that they had no cars left/available! Two days later when we go drop off the car, the counter is closed! It was 5:15 and, according to their posted hours of operation, they weren’t supposed to close until 6! So needless to say their was no one there. We returned the car with some gas in it, not full but not empty. Imagine how shocked I was when the next morning I check my email and see that on my statement I am being charged $161.00 for GAS!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! I will never return to this location and will never recommend it to anyone! This location should just be shut down!!

The absolute worst place to rent a car. I reserved a car 2 days prior to arrival and arrived today only to be told that they don't have any inventory. I called one hour prior to confirm the reservation and it was never mentioned that there was no inventory. Come to find out, this location doesn't even have a phone and the Thrifty number on the website is not associated with the location. I was told that I could get on a waiting list and cars would be given out, first come, first serve. Needless to say, after 2 uber cars later and $45 extra, I am headed to the airport to get a car.
