During my free time before heading out for a dinner date, I visited the nearby Petsmart with my furry friend SantaPaw. Although it's not his favorite place, I found the store to be clean and well-maintained, earning it a five-star rating from me. Additionally, there was a cat adoption event happening, and I couldn't resist stopping by to admire the cute little kittens that were available for adoption. I also observed a dog training session, and I was pleased to see that SantaPaw didn't bark back at the other dogs. The training session seemed to be well-organized and effective. Overall, it was a productive and enjoyable visit to Petsmart.

This review is just for the grooming services. #1 - they charged $20 to "de-mat" my maltipoo's hair. They ended up shaving her down to one of their lowest settings anyways. When you're shaving that close, there's no real work in de-matting - you just shave. I've done this multiple times in-between groomings at PetSmart and this was the first PetSmart that told me they needed to charge me de-matting services prior to intake. I should have just walked out then. #2 - They call me regularly to take my dog back. Again, the only PetSmart to ever make the annoying effort for a unsolicited phone call. The only call I ever wanted was for them to call me when I was ready to pick up my dog, not for a continuous marketing call. Only reason this isn't a one is because it's unfair to the rest of the store as I haven't had any issues (but also haven't purchased) from the main store.

I took my small dog to be groomed this morning. We’ve been taking her to this location for about a year. I have been fairly pleased. Occasionally my dog would have a small section of hair that was missed in the trim or a small section that was shorter than everywhere else. No big deal. I was fine overlooking it. I am very particular about the service and price I select. There are times I upgrade but usually get the basic service. The basic service is $58. Today it was $83. On my app, it says $58. They insisted that I must have upgraded it. The manager said it wasn’t their mistake. He was snarky and unwilling to help. I am not wanting to post this review but I don’t want this to be something that happens to someone else. I will be contacting corporate.

First of all, I tried to call many PetSmart stores before (grooming department). We needed the last-minute bath for our two dogs (both are labradors), and all of them just said: "You need an appt" and turned me away. But this specific store their customer service really stepped in, the lady was not in a rush tone voice, she was polite, she really heard me on the phone. She said I could just bring the dogs, and they would take care. I totally get the "appointment rules" folks, but what caught my attention was her being all the way customer friendly and not treating me like another number you know. Anyways, I brought my two dogs there, paid for a regular bath, and one nail trimming (sorry, our money was short that day). Surprisingly, when I got there to pick them up, they trimmed the nails of my second dog, saying it was their treat for us. Oh my gosh, I got my day! I wasn't expecting that at all. If all these big corporations have this "human touch," the world will be a better place. Thank you, ladies, for the grooming salon!

Petsmart is pretty clean. The associates, for the most part, are willing to help you. As most stores nowadays are short staffed and you may have to wait a bit for someone to help you. Please don't be impatient it is not thier fault. Call the corporate office and complain to them about not having enough people on the floor to help a customer.

I have taken my puppy Luna to training class here and Kelli has been an absolute super star. Luna is so excited for each class as Kelli brings amazing enthusiasm and knowledge on how to best get your dog to learn. She goes through many examples provides unique tips and tricks and always asks if there are any questions. Luna just graduated from the advanced class with her canine good citizen certification and we couldn’t have done it without Kelli’s training. I can not recommend her enough. Star employee and she works in grooming too so she can hook your dog up with some cool styles.

The woman (I should have asked for her name, but didn't.) working this afternoon/evening was absolutely amazing!! I showed her a picture of what was needed for my cats and she knew exactly where it was, literally 3 seconds and didn't judge me in any way. She remained super professional and also mentioned they price matched their website prices. She was super kind, friendly, and professional!
