Alex is awesome! Highly recommend checking him & his business out! He’s a pro instructor on the water and off too! Had so much fun wakeboarding and boating we forgot to touch our toes until we woke up SUPER sore from the fun the next day.

Had such a blast with Alex and his son Josh boarding & boating that we got sore enough to need a yoga session one of these days! He is an amazing instructor & I highly recommend checking them out if you’re in town

I have been trying to find a yoga studio since I moved here, and unfortunately this is not it. I went to 4 classes at the same time and day over 4 weeks and had 4 different teachers. I feel like the place has potential, but they are not trying very hard. An example would be their lighting, a single strand of star lights strung up on one wall. Other than that, it's just daylight. The class names such as " bliss" and "inspire" mean nothing. They were simply vinyasa flow. When I asked, I was told they were special classes. Also, an email to the contact info on the webpage went unanswered.

The yoga studio and teachers are welcoming. They offer a range of classes, memberships, and equipment. I had a wonderfully warm and gentle Sunday morning session.

What an amazing event and equally amazing studio. It was so refreshing to see something unique to this studio specifically, such as their glow yoga events (at the rooftop at Aero or at their studio). It was great to finally meet Andi and mingle with other yelpers. My girlfriend even got to come too! The studio is cute and cozy. The owner was welcoming and friendly informing us of the check in perks -- each time you check in when you come you get to pick one of their cute stickers for free! Yay! So we got "lit" up with paint and glow in the dark tattoos before grabbing a mat. Our instructor for the evening was Mikaela, she is quite a powerhouse! She instructs the power yoga sessions. She came by before we started and asked if I wanted a block. I told her I had never used one and then she broke it down for me and the benefits of using one. So I kept it nearby just in case. The first thing we did was partner up with someone you don't know preferably (you have the option to not if you prefer). This was the first time I've down a "buddy yoga" system and I really enjoyed it! You certainly have to use your core and have trust in your partner. It was really rewarding though to be able to maneuver through it together! After that Mikaela took us into the power yoga. OH MY. Now I have taken yoga (even hot yoga) before at various locations but never had I had a class like this. It's almost like I was Goldie Locks trying to find the right bed, the previous studios weren't the best fit for me -- but this studio felt great! This class is no joke. I sweated and worked my a** off! When I started to feel tired and winded Mikaela would chime in with something positive to say which kept me going -- well at least to finish the class. Ugh, bouncing crescent lunges (I think that's what they are called?).... WOW, you hurt me SO good! Now I go to the gym fairly consistently and this class definitely worked my arms, my legs, my core -- my hamstrings and quads were screaming and I was like, oh hellllloooooo there! (Haha). But seriously, I would definitely recommend this studio. I didn't feel like I walked into a yoga studio where I felt like I needed to change to a vegan or raw diet, but I felt rejuvenated and in peace when I left. I very much look forward to coming back! (Parking is a bit limited in front but you can park on the street behind the studio)

Checked out Glow Yoga tonight at PLA Yoga. The small studio is located in the same as The Sanctum which rounds out your Heath nut happiness meter. Yoga class followed by an entirely plant base lunch! Your body will thank you. The small studio allows for pretty intimate class sizes and individual attention. No pressure though, everyone is there to have fun, very non-judgmental type of place. The instructors take special efforts to making sure everyone is having fun and you'll end up making friends at the end of class. The glow parties are a trip! The provide glow sticks, glow paint, temp tattoos and you spend a few minutes creating your masterpiece and can see all of your friends glow through class. Think of it like a super chill rave. I have a specific appreciation for this studios willingness to break the mold on music selections. It's not an hour listening to nothing but chimes, but rather Red Hot Chili Peppers and indie alternative tracks that you can bounce to. Thank you for changing up the playlist!! Come to find out that the god is the same group that does the Glow yoga at Aero in downtown! I have to hit that up at some point! There's plenty of classes and lots of deals! Check them out!

Went to the yoga glow night they recently had and it was a super positive welcoming environment. The owner and the instructions are very friendly. I will have to check it out during the day sometime.

5 Stars for a great yoga studio that took over another great yoga studio and kept many of the regular classes as well as adding fun, new additions to the schedule! I've been going to Firefly Yoga for a few years now and had seen them through a move (three doors down in the same strip mall) and now to a change in ownership with a new name. It's not uncommon to be wary of this kind of change, especially if you are a regular and have become accustomed to a schedule and certain teachers. But, fear not! Having spoken to both the previous owner and the new owner, it seems this spot is in good hands for a smooth transition! Indeed, even Holly (previous owner who still has a studio in Ocoee) still teaches a few classes at PLA.Yoga! Even more impressive, PLA.Yoga is honoring class passes that folks had purchased and not finished using at Firefly. So much loving kindness and gratitude going on around this little studio! In fact, PLA.Yoga just celebrated their grand opening weekend, though they've been quietly open for a few weeks, and I've had the pleasure of taking some classes. Sign in was easy, either done online through their schedule on the website, or on an iPad when you arrive. The space is cozy with one medium sized room that lends itself beautifully to a yoga community. It is conveniently located two doors down from The Sanctum, so a quick smoothie or vegan bowl after class is almost a given. This means parking can sometimes get tight, but I've always found a spot and you can park on the street just off of Ferncreek if you have any trouble. In terms of classes, you'll still find evening bliss classes, as well as ashtanga, meditation, yin, and a little birdie (flier taped to their window) tells me they'll have some special occasion black light glow stick classes in the future! The true test for me with a studio is that there is a general sense of kindness, generosity, and a nonjudgmental community spirit. PLA.Yoga is fortunate to have this grandfathered in due to its predecessor, but the joy they bring looks like it'll include new and unique classes that will get us all smiling and doing sun salutations all the way into the evening!
