Extremely Frustrating Experience
I am truly disappointed with how this location is managed.
I arrived in the morning ready to rent a unit. The office was completely closed, no staff on site. I still went ahead and called to rent because I needed the storage, but I wanted to see the space before renting and that is exactly why the office should exist.
After completing the rental over the phone, I was given a unit number that did not even exist. I walked around the property at least 15 times, with my 3-year-old child in the heat, searching for something that wasn’t there.
It was exhausting, frustrating, and completely unacceptable.
I called customer service at least six times, and nobody could give me a solution.
The customer service team even gave me the direct number for the manager, but he also never answered.
The only way I finally reached someone was by calling the sales extension, because for sales, they always pick up. Only then, after all this stress, was I scheduled to meet someone the next day.
To be clear, all I wanted was for someone on site to help me find my unit so I could come back tomorrow with my things.
I am a mother of two small children, and now I have to return just to locate my storage unit because there is no manager available to actually assist customers.
To be fair, the last representative I spoke to was polite and respectful, but it does not change the fact that this entire process was a nightmare.
There should be staff on site, managers who answer their phones, and customer service that actually helps.
This was one of the most frustrating customer experiences I have ever had.
I cannot recommend this location to anyone.

Would leave zero because wanted to put some boxes and trash in a dumpster they said no couldn't use but have signs all over please help keep clean ....figure that out

I am extremely pleased with the district manager, Ms. Pagan every time I cross paths with her, she is super friendly and welcoming, and she stops to say hello. Not to mention, both of the Lakehurst locations are always clean, and the
property's staff is always friendly and willing to help. Both locations are secured and well maintained.

Set my checkout day on 2/28 and was still charged on 3/1 by automatic payment. When I went in to try to get my money back for a month I paid for and wasn't using and am still not using Mid-March I wasn't helped whatsoever with a refund. If you schedule a move out date, do it in person. Do not trust this location to honor it or reimburse payment.
