Publix #1439 is nice, but the Instacart pick up spots are almost ALWAYS taken up by people who are literally shopping inside the store. It's ridiculous, I see it nearly every time. I end up having to park far down the parking lot, and then I am told I can't park this far down. Why can't there be some time of enforcement or regulation with this issue? There need's to be an employee(s) dedicated to watching for those who take those spots from people who actually need them.

Every time I go to pickup my groceries through Instacart at Publix #1439, all the Instacart pickup parking spots are taken up by inconsiderate people who are actually shopping inside the store! It forces us to park far away from the actual pickup spot EVERY time we go to pickup our groceries! Publix needs to enforce this somehow. Rotate customer service employees outside (during normal weather) to make sure customers are actually parking there to pickup groceries and not taking advantage of an empty parking spot. This is ridiculous.

This used to be the best store in the area, now it's just an expensive mess. The new setup is horribly confusing and makes shopping a very unpleasant experience. Many customers have complained about it, but we've been told it's not going to change. So, if you want Cookies, look for the diaper isle, if you want candies, look for the soup isle.
Update. If you are lactose intolerant, be prepared to pay top dollar for lactose free products. They'll squeeze you for every dollar.

I have not bought meat from Publix in a while. I paid $11.20 for a pound of lean ground. It looked nice and fresh. I was in a hurry to get home so I pick it up to save me another trip to my other store. I know it's expensive to get groceries any more so I didn't think too much of it. However, when I got home to make hamburger patties, inside what looked like fresh ground beef on the outside was dark grey beef. Not even dark brown like a day old but literally grey meat. Publix had simply wrapped the very old meat in the fresh ground meat. I was raised on a farm and we raised our own beef so I know what old meat is. This grey meat was several days old if not a couple weeks. If I am going to pay the high prices for lean ground beef, I expect it to be fresh not several days old disguised as fresh. Once I saw that meat, I remembered why I stopped buying meat at Publix. Shame on you, Publix! Mr. Jenkins would turn over in his grave. And yes, I knew him when I was a little girl and shopped at the flagship store every Friday.
