I don't know how they work but they have the worst customer service , they told me we can drop off the sample at anytime and when we went there this morning they told my wife we should have an appointment or wait with walk in, that's stupid

I visited this Qiest D Lake Underhill location a couple of times for my son's lab tests, and let me tell you that the quality of service and empathy are terrible.
First, they took so much blood from my son in the second session of his exams that he felt dizzy and his legs were shaking even though I told them that the same laboratory had recommended to me that the samples should be distributed well according to his age and weight and I insisted that it was like that. They ignored it and it was totally negligent..!!
Then I returned to deliver the missing sample and it took 45 minutes to receive it when I asked 3 times what I was just going to deliver, I took a number and the excuse was that the number was not on the screen. I mean, what kind of response or service is that from a group of nurses? The first one went out to lunch and didn't even bother to help me knowing that I had asked for it 20 minutes ago and the other took a couple of occasions and time to react to attend to my request 25 minutes more.
I definitely wouldn't go back "it's not the place it's the people"

On 10/15, my 15-year-old son had bloodwork done. After his fifth tube of blood was drawn, he passed out. The Phlebotomist, Ms. Cortez, was not very communicative or engaging with my son throughout the process. After he passed out, his skin turned pale, his eyes rolled back, and his body went stiff. It was an incredibly stressful moment for me as his mother, watching him become unresponsive.
Ms. Cortez called for assistance, and two other staff members responded quickly with cold compresses, water, and an alcohol pad to help revive him. However, I felt Ms. Cortez did not handle the situation proactively and failed to explain what was happening as things unfolded.
I understand that fainting can be common among teenage boys during bloodwork, but my concern is this: If staff are aware that this reaction tends to happen with patients of this age group, why not take preventive measures? For instance, why wasn’t I invited to stand next to my son to help engage and distract him during the process? Ms. Cortez also spent a considerable amount of time entering information into the computer beforehand. During that time, offering my son water or engaging him in conversation might have helped avoid this situation altogether.
In my opinion, more preventative and proactive measures should be in place, particularly when working with younger patients, to prevent such distressing events.

The walk in process is a joke. I’ve been here since 5:30 when it opened and still haven’t been called 4 1/2 hours later. I understand appointments take priority but don’t advertise you have walk in availability. Then you have one of the lab techs, who comes out every hour to yell at everyone in the lobby that if you’re a walk in/standby patient, you’re going to be waiting for hours. That she recommends you make an appointment because she doesn’t know when you’ll be seen. But can’t even be bothered to make an appointment for the elderly that are waiting. She tells them she can give them a number to call. What a joke. This is the worst place to do a walk in. They have 5 appointments per hour. If only 3 show up, call 2 walk ins. It’s not that difficult of a solution for everyone involved.

Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service! They’ve gone totally automated so you don’t really get to talk to a real person. It seems they’ve suffered from the too big to fail syndrome. Someone really needs to compete and offer real customer service like they used to.

Such a bad Quest location. Good luck being called at your scheduled time. They have totally missed sections of orders and I’ve had to go back in to get blood redrawn. Just had a really painful draw - no idea what the phlebotomist did. I’m done with this location.

I had 6 tests ordered. I had 6 tests ordered.
Tech name caroline or Carol was drawing blood for 6 tests.she had hard time sticking me.got 1 tube of blood and said youre done.i told her I always have the sam e tests with at least 5 tube&s with different color tops.i asked does she need to take more.she said no.they were behind and she probably wanted to go home. I sure my dr.will send me back due to the fact she did not take the time to get enough for the tests ordered. Someone needs to supervise these people

It is constantly disrespectful in Asia for people who do not have appointments and who are told to come at 5:30am, ok they understand that appointments have priority but they must also take into account the elderly and all types of people who also get up early and are fasting to have an analysis and have been on a list for more than 4 hours and there are only excuses that it is the system and that they can't do anything, our time is also valuable and we are doing the right thing because we are standing in line what It is not correct that they leave someone waiting for hours and that they only call 2 people in 4 hours, it is already a lack of respect and if the problem is the system, then the supervisor or manager should pay attention to the people and the opinions and work to solve them, not just reading the comments and doing nothing.
Since it is not the first time that this is happening on this site and there are many people upset for the same reason and they do nothing because time passes and everything stays the same, I don't know what the truth is happening with the supervisors of this place...

This company cares about you just as much as they care about these reviews- zero. The results show up as cancelled in the app, you can't reach anyone to talk to without waiting over an hour. The standby experience is a hellscape. If you are routinely over overbooked with clients- why not hire more staff?
If you are truly concerned over clients health, why have them ALL share 2 touchscreen check in machines and provide NO hand sanitizers?
I thought maybe it was just an isolated experience, but this has been true for several locations.

Absolute disaster of location! Extremely RUDE staff! Over 10 clients told their online appointments were non existent due to system errors , given ZERO resolution out offered any assistance. The woman at the desk was beyond unhelpful, snobbish, shrugging her shoulders stating “it’s not on me”. Management needs to revamp this location’s staff.

The person who took care of me was not at all professional, he pricked both my arms, he did not find my vein and he pricked my hand and apart from that, when I am leaving he tells me I hope the blood I draw reaches him is disrespectful, he did not even say Sorry because he pricked me three times 😡😡😡😡

Your clinic was very impersonal and had cold feeling felt like a dystopian venipuncture clinic from the future. No receptionist , the only way to check in was via phone or the check in kiosk. Very depressing, like being on a automated robot assembly line. Wondering if your leadership uses your clinics or go to larger health care hospital chains for blood draws, testing. Just saying you should consider this.

I typically don’t take the time to make a bad review but I have unfortunately reached a breaking point with quest at the Lake Underhill location in Orlando FL. Quest constantly advertises that for quick service to make an appointment. Every time I’ve made an appointment it has always been a 30min wait pass the appointment. They happen to always be understaffed and they have chosen to do a check in process with a tablet instead of a representative probably to save the representative from the tension in the waiting room. It is very unfortunate to have a company not care at all about their patients nor their time. At this point it makes more sense to go to a different business out of my way just to have something done in a timely manner. I can confirm this will be the last time myself and any relative I have use quest
