If you’re looking for a quite upscale dining. This is the right location for you. Nothing exciting just a quiet dinner.
For a splurge, Ruth's Chris is a quiet getaway from the bustle of busy "restaurant row" near International Drive. The professional servers politely keep watch over tables and make menu suggestions. You may think twice about ordering an appetizer with giant steaks on the way, but Ruth's are worth the calories: lobster bisque, blue-crab cakes and a chopped salad are our favorites. There are seven cuts of beef on the menu, from a petite filet to a huge cowboy rib-eye, all cooked in butter unless you request otherwise. Servers hesitate to recommend rare, but the steaks arrive at the table on sizzling platters and the meat continues to cook while you dine, so order the steak rarer than you usually might. Order a few à la carte sides to share, like the garlic mashed potatoes or the sautéed baby spinach. If beef is not your preference, the menu offers fresh lobster, chicken breast, lamb and veal. The wine list is unremarkable, but there are plenty of solid selections to accompany a good steak. And if you dare, order the apple crumb cake or crème brûlée with berries.
