This is a great place to save a lot on your weekly grocery, this place is basically a place which sells close to expire or recently expired products or overstocked goods. I found a lot of great stuff for cheap, But some of the prices still doesn't make no sense at all like Aim toothpaste is 99cents everywhere but here it's 2.99$ also I saw many vitamins and over the counter medicines for way high priced than $??.

This places is the best! It offers lower priced groceries for the neighborhood and beyond. In the current times and poor economy, people need places like SACKS. Yes take your time and go through each aisle, you will find many bargains!! Read the dates, the items will expire. The food is packaging makes a difference for how long it “really” is good for. Example canned item will last a few years, boxed on shelf items WONT!!! Also where the dented can is dented, most are ok. I am a certified food safety expert and if you go here, you will be fine, and save some money. I work in the healthcare field and always recommend this place for more affordable items, so just maybe they don’t have to decide buying food or paying a bill. Again every person situation is different but SACKs makes a big difference for many!!!!!!You will be greeted by the most friendly staff who speak English and Spanish.Always willing to help you.

This place has a lot of off brand, discontinued, over stock, and recently expired food items from major retailers and food markets across the country. You can't beat their prices on most meats, cereals, and spices. I do not recommend any boxed/bagged flour, meal, grits, or any starch items that did not come sealed in plastic as 50% of my purchases have come with pantry/flour beetles.

I see people here all the time, I don't understand why. Their website says their food is good for sale but man I man,I don't think I would but anything in the store. Expired food, medicine and baby products, freezer burnt, boxes that looked like they are ran over with a car tire, leaving cans, dusty and cluttered shelves. It's your choices of your health when you shop here.

All the lower-star reviewers seem to be out of touch with the purpose of this store, if you want boxes of cereal or pancake mix for ⅓ of grocery store prices, this is your spot! They have most things your local grocer would carry, some deals are crazier than others depending on the current state of the market. As a LIQUIDATOR they may be getting rid of products in damaged (but still safely sealed) packaging, or non-perishable products that are close to or recently passed their "best by" date (but not spoiled). If you're on a budget there's no other store in town that's truly comparable to this place. The frozen meat section has a surprising amount of variety, too. Last time I went my friend scored 10lb of pork for $10. He described it as a "home run". As for the aisles being "messy" or "filled with boxes" the only way for them to provide the best deals is to minimize warehousing and labor costs, by accepting a compact store layout and digging through the surplus bins yourself you're able to get the best deals possible. The employees keep the place clean and organized, I think people just see the "clutter" and think "dirty". Remember, everything is clearance, so most shelves and gaylords have to be shared among a variety of "similar" products.Keep up the good work Sacks!

When we're going to be near here, we stock up.***Please note that the prices on the pictures may not be the same. Most of the prices are great, compared to regular grocery stores, but you're getting items that are dented or close and even past their "best by" date. If you're ok with that, then you can get some great deals here. For example, some protein bars were 80% cheaper than in a regular store. Some frozen berries were 40% cheaper then those in regular grocery stores. On the other hand some items have increased in price a bit, such as some alternative flours that increased by about 30% in price. So, I guess it depends on what you find. And that depends on what the store receives, how dented the item is, how close to the best by date, etc.We go with a general idea of things we want, and then look for deals. If we find some, we usually buy a lot of those items. This is one of our favorite places to get groceries.

I was able to get enough cereal and almond milk to last me a month, and some additional snack/lunch/dinner items for just under $50. Also picked up some cleaning supplies that were a bargain. It was raining and I forgot to sort things into the box I'd taken so it took longer for me to leave, and as I was loading my soggy groceries into my trunk a very nice employee named Michael came and helped me load the rest in without me having been expecting it. Good bargains and great customer service.

You get what you pay for, however this is a great place to shop for little snacks and stock up. Would suggest a Maintenance team.

It's an experience that well worth trying. It's like a second hand store for items that's discontinued, expiring , some dented, didn't sell well at other stores, etc.Must have time and patience to look through items. It helps to stretch your money and food, during these hard times.

Quirky collection of odd and unusual grocery items along with the standard stuff. Way fun to browse through on top of the substantially discounted prices.

Some things are priced nice and low, others aren't good deals. You just have to look. Cereals and treats many/varied and priced well.

If you are in the area I suggest you stop by Sacks for some cheap groceries. They have a huge selection of non-perishables including, but not limited to, salad dressings, pastas, candy, canned goods, coffee, condiments and cereals. Sacks also has some fresh veggies & fruit, along with frozen items. However, I have not purchased any of those. I stick with the non-perishables. NOTE - some of the items are expired so make sure you take the extra second to check the expiration. However, a lot of the goods are cheap because they are "damaged." I will gladly take a discount on a dented canned good.
