I visited Sam Ash in search of a new drum throne and was greeted by Calvin, who provided excellent customer service, although he normally works in a different department. He even offered to help me pick out a suitable one, to include helping me put together a throne out the box, until the individual that normally runs the drum department arrived. Carlos, then took the baton and continued providing the same excellence in customer service. I've visited this store before multiple times in the past and I have to say these two gentlemen made my experience there convenient and memorable. Thanks for your awesome support!

Today I had my best costumer service experience at this Sam Ash store first the Audio guy Mike he answer me all my questions and help me with no rush and in a professional way then when I was about to get my items using progressive leasing the progressive leasing company did a huge mistake charging my account when the lease was not even created at the store there’s when the store manager Andrew came to the rescue and help me in all my questions and called the progressive company and fix all the problem and was a huge one but thanks to Andrew and Mike I was able to get my merchandise form the store the problem with progressive solved and I’m a happy costumer of Sam Ash thanks to the AMAZING costumer service of this two great employees! Thanks guys!

The folks at Sam Ash on Colonial in Orlando are The Best! I love so many things about this store from how perfectly lighted it is to the spacious and organized layout. The staff are always super friendly and very helpful, yet I never feel pressure or a sales'y vibe. They seem to have a keen awareness for when it's the right time to check in and offer assistance. When I do have a questions they have unfailingly shown up with knowledgable and relevant information. It's an easy choice to make my in-person music purchases at Sam Ash.

Went to their competitor and nobody came to help me. Went to their Orlando store just to look and wound up purchasing a Takamine guitar. What a great experience and help from Rickie. I will definitely be back.

Great customer service. It was December 31st 2023 at 6:00pm!!!. My mom last minute decided to buy a microphone. The guy was very patient explaining the options, cables and adapters, he even need to go to the warehouse several times just to make sure all plugs worked correctly. Thank you for going beyond your role to make sure we had a wonderful New Year’s Eve. I’m not sure about the guy name I believe was Ryan (long hair, toll and also a guitarist). I appreciate it.

Great service from the manager Andrew. Granddaughter received a new guitar for Christmas and old cord for Amp was broken and she couldn’t play it. Ordered online, said it was in stock at the store, but it wasn’t. Talked to Andrew and he had me drive to the store, picked a cord that was in stock, and replaced it so my granddaughter would have one. He went above and beyond to help me and gave my granddaughter the ability to play her brand new gift. Thanks again Andrew and to your helpful staff.

Wow!!! First time in the store. The selection of instruments and equipment was incredible. I had my daughter taking pictures while I walked around like a kid in a candy store. Eyes wide open, and my jaw dragging the floor. The prices of the Taylor and Gibson guitars were far less than I expected. I was amazed. Sam Ash is the largest store I have ever been in. And the customer service was very attentive, polite, and helpful. Thank you so much for a great experience.I will definitely be back.

What a great team! Went in for a set of electronic drums they had on sale and were out of stock. Andrew (GM) had his staff member Carlos track one down and had it shipped from another state to my home. After that, Mo was great with customer service in getting me tracking and being so nice with all my questions. definitely recommend this location!!

The man with the beard up front is rude,refused to get out from behind his computer to help me, pointing to the guitar counter where there was one employee struggling to help three different customers at once even though he had ZERO customers he was currently helping. When the guitar associate sent him back his way (which I don’t blame him for as he was incredibly busy), he tried having me walk all the way to the recording room to ring out, I just put my pack of licks down and left the store.The laziness….. was insane, had me THE PAYING customer, jump through all these hoops just to pay for something that’s like …. What? $5 dollars? Never going back there.I did make sure to get his name on the way out. His name was Daniel.He smelled awful.

Calvin has been very helpful to me as I researched and finally purchased a portable keyboard to use when I travel. I’m am not a professional musician, but he treated me with respect and answered every question with patience. He listened to me. This has not been my experience in other music stores. When my gig bag didn’t meet my needs, he went above and beyond in helping me return and replace it with something better suited. High marks to Calvin! I highly recommend the folks at Sam Ash on Colonial Drive in Orlando to all my friends who dabble in music.

Have been coming for about 8 months for Guitar lessons for my kid. I’m amazed how 50% of the time it is a challenge to simply pay for a lesson with the folks working the counter. The instructor is great and I’m willing to look past the basic lack of knowledge at the register but today, as I’m paying for a lesson, the total due showed tax which I hadn’t payed before. I asked about it because it had never happened before and the guys response was “I’m not the person to ask because I don’t get paid much for my labor.” That’s probably true but if you don’t like your job, go find a new one and learn some customer service.

Went in to sell a guitar in almost perfect condition. They offered me $225 at first then the manager I believe came around and had the employee tell me that they'd only give me $180. Why switch up what we agreed on? Very unprofessional in my opinion. Also, it looks a bit run down like some rats run the place.
