KUDOS and thanks to Lanice for providing supreme quality customer care to my godfather Robin . She is very knowledgeable, efficient, and super friendly. She gave him tender loving care as an excellent nurse and answered all our questions! I highly recommend all to come and visit to support this local business!

I am a bit beside myself from this experience. I came in through the ER having pain in my stomach. The hospital held on to me for about a week ignoring my pleas to address the bulge in the side of my tummy, until about day 5, when finally the daily rounding doc finally looked at it and said...."Oh, you have a hernia. They didnt even attempt to address the issue, instead holding me for a little more time and telling me to go home and take the issue up with my PCP. They lost my wheel chair and have done nothing to resolve the issue to date. The fly by night transportation company (DDJ Transport) was even worse...the driver showed up late and asked a few questions (what number is your apt, is the door unlocked etc) about where I lived, then disappeared about a half hour later the case worker walks into my room and says that they are unable to get into the apt....now why they went to go into my house without me there is....well infuriating....you left me at the hospital and went to enter my house for WHAT REASON.....BEWARE, this reeks of malfeasance. Aside from that horror show, there is little in the way of nutrition at DR.P and the first shift was mostly B team and second shift might as well have been self service (is there an E team)?? Celebration hospital is only a few miles away....do yourself a favor.

I was admitted to Orlando health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital on May 3, 2023 early in the morning through the emergency room for a VERY distended stomach, severe abdominal pain, loss of weight and constant diarrhea. Due to family history, (mother passed from pancreatic cancer, maternal grandmother and uncle from stomach cancer) and personal history (breast cancer twice and past hernia/diastasis abdominal repair) this was extremely concerning. I was placed on IV, given pain medication and fluids and CT scan of abdomen and pelvis was performed. It was determined I had a "cyst" on the tail of my pancreas, again very scary for me having watched my mom suffer through and die from pancreatic cancer. I was also told that I had problems with my cervix, ovaries, a spot on my liver and kidney. This all took place on May 3, 2023. On May 4 beginning very early in the morning I was told I would shortly have a pelvic ultrasound/transabdominal, trans vaginal sonogram as well as an MRI with and without contrast of abdomen. I was on placed on zero fluid, zero food diet due to nature of test so I am now two days without nutrition. The first tests came back negative however the MRI kept being delayed. I was finally wheeled downstairs near 11PM to be told by the tech that the machine"had just gone down". She stated that sometimes she was able to reboot it which she was not able to do. I was up all night, anxious and again without food or fluid other than IV which they at times stopped again due to anticipation of test. The next morning, May 5, 2023 I was told Siemens was coming "to fix the only MRI machine" and that I was the first on the list as I proceeded to have a nervous breakdown. I asked the chief nurse and called down to the business office and asked to speak to a patient advocate to no avail. Test was finally performed early afternoon. At this point a "doctor" I had never seen comes into my room explaining he was working on my discharge papers. This is without ANY explanation of test results (the only way I knew my sonogram came back negative for cervical mass was due to me looking on my hospital portal). For these reasons I feel I should not be billed for the extra day I was required to spend in the hospital due to their machine breaking. For that matter Cigna should not have paid for this extra day. Bill was for $49,814.37 and Cigna covered $48,696. 41. Absurd for this lack of service!!!! And considering the extra anxiety I unduly suffered.

the hospital should improve the emergency room as soon as possible, the registration method when you arrive at the emergency room is archaic, they have only one person attending, the papers filled by hand, I was on Monday in the Osceola parkway emergency room and the deal is completely different from the one I received today in Dr. Phillips, here I had to wait in line for more than 20 minutes to attend and they didn't have anyone in the room yet yesterday in Osceola was as empty and I didn't have to wait for 3 minutes. this rate is only for the from desk, inside the attention is good

I had a bad experience at this hospital. My grandmother is not on a diet and she did not get her breakfast. They did not bathe her yesterday and today we had to follow up so that they bathed today. At the moment she has not received her lunch. Dirty room and bathroom. The lousy and unprofessional work team. Very bad experience. They do not have cleaning staff, there is no hygiene, the staff is incompetent. He hasn't received high blood pressure medication for 3 days and now they say he has high blood pressure. The same answer for all. They are incompetent. We never thought that in an area as named as "Dr. Philips" they would be so irresponsible, unprofessional, with a lack of empathy and ethics. It is unfortunate. Management is a disaster.

Absolutely THE worst hospital I have ever gone to!! Have to say the nurses: Amy, Matt and Tequila on the 3 rd floor were the best, only rivaled by nurses at Mayo Clinic on Rochester!! There is definitely no sense of urgency in any of Testing Departments (radiology, heart pain, etc.). Left in a waiting room for 3-4 hours with nobody checking on you, then out in a hall in a wheel chair for 30-45 minutes on either side of your test! They actually make the old VA look responsive (before Trump fixed it ). Would definitely recommend going elsewhere if you can! Actually signed myself out because I could not take waiting so long while the workers talked about their live life, their vacations, their complaints about others in their department, etc! You are there to help patients, NOT socialize while they wait multiple hours. Had open heart surgery and recovered at Mayo in less time then they took to do three tests, I am not kidding!!

Honestly I wish I could give this hospital a 0. After being forcibly escorted here with a close friend due to the most ridiculous reasoning they not only threatened to detain me and force me to stay outside of the hospital because I was concerned for my friend, they left us in the hospital room for over an hour with no answers as to why or what was going on and when I tried to ask they forcibly told me to "stay in the room" and that they'd get to us eventually. Mind you it's the stark middle of the night. This hospital is absolutely ridiculous with how rude their health care is and no one acted professionally. Truly such a waste of time and money and I feel sorry for any one else who has to deal with this hospital and emergency room's heath dare because it's a joke.

I came to the hospital with severe spinal pain. The triage nurses were great, the ER nurse, Elizabeth, and Dr. Pham were top notch! Elizabeth was personable and professional which goes a long way in a hospital setting. Dr. Pham took plenty of time to discuss my options, answer questions and provide the information I needed to make the best possible decision in regards to my care/treatment. Very thankful to have been in their care.

The first 3 staff members I encountered, deserves 5 stars. There was a staff member who came outside and brought me a wheelchair without me even asking, the security guard, and the male nurse who started to take care of my intake. As for the random nurse who came over and interrupted my intake I was having with the male nurse, I would give this place negative 5stars. Not only was she being rude, rolling her eyes, and even making Sarcastic remarks, she proceeded to basically tell me this hospital would do nothing and that nothing would take between 1-2 hrs. So I just said nevermind and left. I did not see a point in me staying for nothing. I'm actually glad she did that now come to think of it. After reading some of the other 1star reviews (and there are many) I feel I dodged a bullet! It just seemed to me she was saying things that she hoped would make me leave. I came in for an ankle injury. She told me that the ER does not do MRI's and that the X-ray photos are not very detailed. Then she says, "and the radiologist", as she puts her hands in the air. I do not know but the last time I checked, it's NOT ok to talk down on other staff. I really hope that this wasn't a case of her taking one look at me and assuming I had state insurance or no insurance at all. I had my blue cross blue shield platinum insurance card in hand. I did not spend more than 10 minutes in there. She's a representation of what I could've been looking forward to. I hate to lump everyone into one category but for her to be that way and still has a job there, speaks volumes.

Horrible customer service! They left patients alone in the lobby for hours with no updates. One lady scooted all the way from the back in a wheelchair cause no one had checked on her since she arrived hours previously. The staff at the reception desk were sitting around chatting and got attitudes when people asked for updates. I would never choose to go to this place for any type of care. My loved one was taken here because it was the closest ER. Go somewhere else!

It is May 22, 2022. My wife and I were visiting Orlando Florida when my wife started to feel very ill. We decided that she had to go to an emergency room. Thankfully, we chose Orlando Health at the Dr. P Phillips Hospital. This was an amazing wonderful experience. The staff goes out of their way to help us. Everything was handled efficiently and they treated her serious complications from her auto/immune disease with expertise. She had a two day stay at the hospital and we can't say enough about the wonderful care that she received. I highly recommend this hospital.

Once again, another review that was previously removed from/by Google. The dates being supplied on my records are not the actual dates of my hospital visits, also on the date provided here which shows Anemia, no Ultrasound test was completed. Yet insurance was billed for this test. The ultrasound was done on a separate hospital visit (Orlando Health-Osceola Campus) to another facility, yet it was billed on for on November 18-19, 2017. The billed dates on Insurance records can attest to this information. There is also very minuscule information on the record for my blood transfusions received the nights of 11/18/2017-11/19/2017 at Dr. Phillips Hospital, which is supposed to be in the year 2018. From previous work experience at this facility and with patients receiving blood transfusions (license#-RN9287499), this is not the type of record that would be included in my medical records. *let the record sho that no Iron was infused with this blood transfusion for absorption. 6.4 was the hgb level reported to me, my husband, and dads' wife, but my record, once again, confuses the count as 6.8. Thanks Rachel (medical records)for helping me sift through this web of confusing mess to get me this information. The stars does not affect the service you have provided. You deserve FIVE STARS for that.
