Sears has been, in it's hayday, one of the premier stores to purchase everything. Well, not any more!! I purchased a chest freezer on-line on 9-24-19 and the expected delivery date was 10-17-19. Except, on that date, the Sears app indicated it had been changed to 10-24-19. That's not gonna work for me since I need it this weekend. I called Sears, I started speaking to someone and when I was providing the order number they hung up on me (or the line disconnected). I called back and was told they couldn't cancel the order, but would put me through to the store so I could cancel it through them. I left a message with the Oviedo Marketplace Sears. Haven't received a return phone call and honestly didn't expect there to be one. So, I called their customer service line again. Waited for 15 minutes until I could actually speak with someone and then that someone couldn't cancel the order because my purchase was an "on-line" purchase. At this point I lost my sh_t. I asked to speak to whomever I needed to speak with to have the order canceled before I got off the phone. I get transferred to yet another person who's accent is so thick, I cannot understand them and they clearly could not understand me. I asked to speak to a supervisor or someone that could understand me (the agent couldn't understand the order number I provided four different times). I finally spoke with the supervisor and got the order canceled. Only after indicating to her that I was not going to be transferred again and there was no other solution than to cancel the order and refund my money. Sears customer service, wow, what a crock of crap ya'll have created! I now understand why the store has been in financial decline. It's unfortunate, but I won't be purchasing anything from them again. Oh and the Sears app, uninstalled! BTW Sears, in case you happen to take note of this, first, get some agents that understand and speak the English language, second, don't hang up on people, third, allow folks to cancel orders on their first call. It's a real simple concept. I don't believe that customers are always right, but you sure don't get anywhere leading them on wild goose chases. Shame on you Sears!!

Not ever again! Bought a vacuum online from Sears. Had an issue with it. Called the number on the vaccum for service. They said we did not buy it from Sears. No record of the sale. Called and talked to the online service. They apologized and said we could return to the store. Go to the store, they said we have to send it in. I said on the return form I gave you it said I could return in the store or send it back. They did not like I got them on that part. Than tried their best to just exchange when I said refund. With customer service like this. I see why this company is going out of business! I am not shopping online or in the store ever again!

Great prices on kids shoes. Helpful cashier's. Horrendous customer service from the floor employees at the kids department. They just ignore you. What a difference from the old days at Sears.

This Sears is actually thriving regardless of the many store closings and talks of Chapter 11. There is always a sale. Place is clean.

This is a very well stocked, friendly, Sears, Roebuck department store. It's one of those stores I can't imagine not being around, and it's pleasant to see a Sears store looking healthy. They have everything a Sears should have including: men's, women's, and kid's apparel, shoes, jewelry, accessories, large and small appliances, tools, home furnishings, auto center, batteries, and outdoor equipment. With their rewards program, they basically give you half the store for free.

My family was visiting Disneyworld from out of state and we went to Sears 3 times. We lost our store and really liked the Orlando Sears. Well stocked and Friendly employees. Keep up the great work!

I always find what I need here. From tools to clothing. Always clean and employees are so friendly and knowledgeable. Bathrooms are clean and handicap friendly.

Sears is the best. Good prices. The customers service excellent too. Thank you Mr. Fidel Ortiz. People like you made the difference 💯.

Pretty clear why Sears is closing stores everywhere, the customer service is atrocious. I’ve been waiting for 20 minutes to return something I bought online. The employees have no customer service skills or sense of urgency. Good riddance Sears.

Great experience and I found almost everything I was looking for. Wish they had more selection of tools because I couldn't get everything I needed here. Hoping the new Sears makes a positive turnaround!

One of the best seats we have ever been in..the people were so nice and always asked us for help..they have great deals and is a nice place to visit in the mall

My wife and I were looking for khaki pants for myself in the men's dept and there were two men working the dept. Neither one ever asked us if we needed help. My wife asked the older man if they had 34" length. He said "no, we only go up to 32". Suspecting he just didn't want to help my wife and I quickly found about a dozen pair of 34" length khakis. Neither of the men even bothered to point us to the big and tall section within eye site of where we were either. Their big and tall section is not marked as such but they have several racks of clothes together that are all bigger sizes. They seemed to go out of their way to make sure our business was not welcomed at their Sears.

They buy their products cheap and sell them at a more expensive price, and their products are inferior quality!

I always wanna like Sears more than I end up liking it. It's really I think that it use to be a store I'd shop with my parents and enjoy and now the vibe is just off years later. They have all the typical anchor chain stuff like clothes, home goods, appliances etc. So if you're going in with something specific in mind you're use to finding here it's probable that'll work out. I checked it the baby clothing section while hubs used the facilities. The pricing was decent but not better than other shops that don't involve a mall stop off. Finding an open register is another challenge. They have register bays throughout the store, but most are unmanned. When you do find one it's got a long line. It's relatively clean in most places. You may find a bit of clutter but nothing insane. If you need help outside the appliances section you're unlikely to find it. Overall: C- Just not worth going to when there are other places that don't involve hitting the mall and have similar pricing and items.

I absolutely love love love this Sears. Always have a great variety and the customer service is great. The only complaint I have is about this weird guy, Carl. He was extremely rude and when I asked for help he rolled his eyes and made a big deal about helping me find a shirt.

This may sound weird, but this place stinks. Stinks in the literal serious form. The Florida mall has dumbed so much money into renovations. Sears honestly seems out of place. The location is very run down, and cluttered. Can't say much for the customer service I never saw anyone. Being in here wasn't an awful experience. Just not what it should be.

I use Sears like I would a brothel. I'm in and out and down the road. Very little dilly-dalling. Just do mah bid-ness and move on. Don't know why I have so little regard for them anymore, but one hunch is their (perceived) new direction with the "lifetime guaranteed" tool replacements. Almost twice I have left with Non-lifetime guaranteed replacements. It's as if they want to re-nig on their "promise of LTG." Yeah, that's probably it. Got my edger blades and skeedaddled the helll outtathere. So much horsechit too at the checkout register. Wanting yo' phone number, sign up for a credit card for 30% off (what?? you don't want to save money ?? -dumbazz ??) and on and on. Gee man, don't you get the vib I AIN'T INTERESTED? (probably does but the stupid management has him follerin' the rules to the "T" or the on line review service might be the end of his cashier career. What a royal PIA process Sears has going on. It's great they are so interested in the customer satisfaction experience, but too much of a real dandy thing well, can be painful.

My wife stopped in to pick up a couple of tops. This location has an extensive and well-stocked Petite Department; and, she likes to stop in whenever we are at The Florida Mall. The only reason this isn't a 5-star review is that when she went to check out, there were two people in front of her. I don't know what their issues were; but, it took 25 minutes for my wife to make it to the register... only one was open on that side of the store. In any case, we hope they keep this location open, as it provides my wife with a valuable shopping option.

So, for some reason, three years ago when I wanted to buy a watch for my guy for our anniversary I decided to try Sears. It was the worst decision I could have made. The watch was amazing and my guy -loved- it. However, about 8 months later, it started to condensate under the glass. That being a big issue for a watch we took it in to the local Sears. The sale's associate was clueless and didn't understand the simple nature of the problem we were describing to her. "The watch gets condensation under the glass face." "I don't see any water." "There's not a pool of water in it, it fogs up, gets water droplets whenever we change temperatures, like going inside a building to outside of it. We can't find a crack, but we think the seal may have been broken along the edge. If you look here, you can see there's almost a stain of fog." "I don't see a crack in the glass." "No, not a crack in the glass. The seal." "Okay, well, I don't see a crack but I'll put 'cracked glass' on the work order and they'll figure it out." *laughs* "It's not a crack, it's an issue with the seal." "Okay, it'll be about 4 weeks before it's done. We'll give you a call when it is repaired." So we leave and 3 weeks later get a call to come back and get it. On the phone message left they said they couldn't find a problem. "Here you go! They repaired the crack and replaced the front glass." I take the watch, still in the repair bag, and can clearly see without even trying that the exact same condensation stain is still on the inside of the front glass. It's a water droplet that swirled around, leaving a path through the fog on the glass. The thing we tried to point out in the first place. I say, "This wasn't repaired, or replaced. This is the exact same glass as before." "Oh, it wasn't repaired, they couldn't find anything wrong with it." "Well, I expected that from the phone call, but now you're telling me it was repaired." "I misread the ticket, I apologize." So I read the ticket in the bag and it says, "No crack." Of course they didn't repair it, the woman put that there was a crack on it when there clearly wasn't. They were not given the proper problem so there was no proper action taken to solve the problem. I stare at her for a moment and begrudgingly leave. So, some odd months later the fog has built up so much that it's almost impossible to see inside the watch. We decide to take it to this Sears and try to get an exchange. Again, we are stuck trying to explain to sales associates how the watch is damaged. After much teeth pulling with a woman who doesn't fully grasp English we finally get the exchange underway. Afterwards, she tells us that this 'spends' the warranty, so we have to pay 20 dollars to get another one. Okay, whatever, just let us go home. At that point it had been almost an hour of her (and then them, as she needed help) trying to figure out what condensation was, how it was making the watch unreadable, and if it qualified for an exchange. Again, the new, identical watch to the last, begins having a problem. It randomly stops moving. It would eventually become hours and hours behind. We finally dropped off the watch about two months ago, with the same 4 week estimate. And today was pick-up day. My guy walks up to the counter and says he's here to pick up and a sales associate says, 'Alright, here it is. They repaired the watch and it's working fine now.' He can literally see it in her hand, with the note inside the bag, which says, 'No problem found.' so he asks her, "So they found the problem

This Sears isn't bad. They carry the Hoodiebuddy brand, which is a favorite of mine. They also have a decent selection of novelty T-shirts. I wish they carried more clothing items in XXL though.

Love Sears. Sadly the future is bleak due too much pressure from all sides. Sears still stands behind its products. Sears is an American institution that helped build the nation into what it is today. Great tools, hardware, electronics and some of the clothing is quite good. Certainly better than crappy Walmart. Be patriotic. Shop at Sears!
