I’m not really sure what happened. I asked for my tires to be rotated and my oil to be changed and I kind of thought they were gonna wash it given the name. They came in several times, trying to upsell me on things. I did agree to a synthetic oil change. They said my brake pads were only going to last another month. I was surprised because they’re not making any noise and they feel fine and the car is only 2 years old. I said it was “ok” to replace them (this was early into this experience) but thankfully, I don’t think the guys English was good enough to understand and I don’t think they actually did replace the brake pads.
In the end, they checked the tire pressure but they did not rotate the tires and when I asked why they didn’t rotate the tires since I asked for that when I came in, it would be $40 even though on the website it says starts at $25 I have a pretty normal car. I don’t mind paying, I never expected it to be free but I asked for them to be rotated and they were not rotated.
So in the end I paid $80 for an oil change. I’m not even sure if they changed the filter. They didn’t rotate the tires and they didn’t clean the car. I said they could fix the brakes and they didn’t fix the brakes. Communication is definitely an issue.
Update: A week later, I got the brakes checked by another place and guess what they’re fine. Splash N’ Dash told me I only had a month left.
