This is an update to a previous review on Google. On November 22nd, 2022, I bought my 2023 Mazda CX-9 Signature AWD below MSRP, and the sales team experience at Mazda South Orlando, FL was outstanding. The looks of the car inside and out, and the outstanding sales team, made me feel I had made a successful deal. However, when I called the parts dept, the next day to order mud guards, all weather mats and other items to enhance my car, the parts guy told me to get them somewhere else because Mazda didn't make those. The car reached 5K, and I took it in for service. The advisor offered a free car wash with the service and I said yes.Moments later, I was told that my rear wiper needed to be replaced, and I had to pay for it. I informed the service advisor about the newness of my car, suggesting a potential factory defect. His story changed, and he said that it didn't need a replacement. And of course, my car didn't get the promised wash. Could you please explain the reasoning behind this, excluding the fact that it was my first service and there was no fee?I raised the problems to the management staff, clarifying that either the mechanics are selling unnecessary parts or the car manufacturer is using unreliable parts. As a response, the person I spoke to had the advisor call me again to clarify that the rear wiper didn't need to be replaced. The advisor never offered an apology for not washing my car when he was the one making the offer. Hearing from the advisor again wasn't what I wanted. What I wanted to hear was what Mazda's management team would do to correct the problem, but it didn't happen. Mr. Don Mealey, I apologize, but I feel obligated to mention that your service and parts department could use some improvement.A few days passed, and then a man called me, asking if I could revise my review and proposing to take me out for drinks. I am not swayed or influenced by someone buying me drinks. Correcting the issues they have will. I don't want anyone to become a victim when they take their car for service. For those of you thinking about buying a Mazda CX-9 signature, the car turning radius is horrible. I can park, turn and make a u-turn better on my 40' passenger bus. In addition, the car's fuel consumption is poor given its size. I got between 250 and 300 miles per tank at $57.00 each fill up. You will do better in a Corvette with 500HP 25-29 MPG My 16-year-old daughter didn't want the 2023 Mazda CX-9 Signature as her first car due to its numerous downsides. After going to different car dealers in Orlando and Tampa, FL, on June 30th, 2023, I traded that car at a different brand dealer, where the best trade-in offer for said Mazda was 30K when I paid 50K for it. As a previous Mazda owner, I reject more Mazdas for me. They don't hold the value, performance is poor, gas consumption is excessive, and parts department and service team don't know what customer service is. The initial report prior to their move to this new location.This dealership used to be clean and inviting, however, now the place looks like a used car lot, unkempt and ugly. The sales staff are friendly, but that is not enough for me to give them my business.

I have purchased CX-5 recently in Sports Mazda South and it was great experience. Luis (sales) made the car selection very easy. He was professional and knowledgeable and he answered all our questions and didn’t push to buy something we didn’t want. All the staff were nice and courteous. After purchase I felt that I got great deal. I highly recommend this dealership. Thanks to Luis for the best service.

I had a very pleasant experience here at Mazda twice I was very specific about my needs, even though they were very difficult, and they took every detail into consideration and found me the perfect size car for my family and the perfect financial situation. I worked with Miguel and Christopher. They are fantastic. I’m still waiting on The rugs to the car I am extremely happy with everything else. Thank you guys so much keep up the good work.

I purchased my first brand new car (ever) from Sport Mazda South, and it was the most seamless process I could have ever imagined. Naturally, growing up, you hear horror stories about buying a new car and how dealers are just vampires trying to get everything they could from you. That couldn’t be further than the truth when it came to this deal. Gil and George handled my transaction with professionalism, care and integrity. Not only did they make the process so easy, they were genuinely excited for me and my family. On top of that, they worked with me to get my car from Ocala to their dealership with zero hassle and they did it so quickly (I needed to fly into Orlando and buy the car within a 3 day window and they were 100% accommodating).As for our financing manager, Jenifer, she went above and beyond to ensure the sale was flawless. She was transparent, personable, and simply put, kind. She went over the numbers with me multiple times and was so understanding of my unrelenting attention to detail. Did I have to read every line on every paper before signing? Yes. Was she happy about it? Also yes. She understood the importance of what it meant to sign something only after having a complete understanding of what I was signing.Overall, Sport Mazda South was absolutely incredible. I can only hope my experiences will be similar in the future I can’t return here.I have a million more great things to say, so I’ll just end with this: From the bottom of my heart, and my family, THANK YOU Gil, George and Jenifer!

I recently purchased a beautiful Mazda6 Signature from Kash (Sgt. Ullah), who is the best car salesperson I have ever worked with. From Kash, to his Sales Manager Ashley, and even John in Finance who all had assistance in making the deal happen I give a huge kudos to all 3 of them. Excellent personalities who deliver customer service with authenticity - no fake customer service attitudes found here! To the owner Jay, please give them kudos, the talent is hopefully well recognized and deserved.Also, the folks on the Service team have been great. I am admittedly and without a doubt, a "particular" customer, to the point I want a specific PSI set for my tire pressure. Bob, Stephen, & Nataly ALL have been excellent. A+.If you're a Mazda owner needing service or parts, or in the market for a new Mazda and are located in the Orlando/North Central Florida area, hands down coming from a very particular and long time Mazda owner, this is THE DEALER TO VISIT.

Kash made the buying experience for our new Mazda CX-90 easy and enjoyable. Buying a car has definitely not changed much in the 10 years with the amount of paperwork but Kash helped to get everything printed prior to our arrival at the dealership. He also helped us get set up in the Mazda app and showed us how things work on the dashboard and everything. From start to finish we were very pleased with the experience and would definitely buy here again. Thank you for everything.

Recently bought a used CX-9 from here. Evan my salesman was quick and laid back, not pushy like a lot of other major brands salesmen. Once I made the decision on what car the process was about as streamline as it could have been. No unnecessary sitting in a backroom for hours waiting for paperwork. Rey who handled the finances was professional and explained each step easily.

Christopher did an awesome job helping us replace our carjacked/totaled CX-9. We went to the dealership knowing exactly what we wanted and he made sure we got it, never ince trying to push us into anything else. He was super friendly and communicative through the entire process.Mayeline made the finance process quick and painless. We were in and out and in 2 hours!

Unfortunately, this is my first "EVER" NEGATIVE REVIEW... It is disheartening to personally experience how some dealerships take advantage of consumers' lack of information during the car buying process. I urge others to exercise caution when considering this dealership. NOT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE!!In March of 2023, My sister and I bought a vehicle from Sport Mazda South after finding one we both liked online. The salesperson was helpful in assisting us with financing. However, the finance manager, Jennifer Contreras, and her boss, Michael, blatantly deceived me regarding the addition of GAP and MAINTENANCE add-ons that I had no interest in. She explicitly stated that these would be included with no extra cost, and even encouraged me to opt for these options as they were supposedly free. Nevertheless, they added costs of at least $1600 to the final price, despite my clear intention to keep the monthly payments as low as possible. After several back-and-forth discussions, she INSISTED that there would be NO COST TO ME. I was not interested, but she assured me it wouldn't cost me anything, so I reluctantly agreed, not feeling secure that these fees were not added on somewhere in the transaction.Upon reviewing the paperwork at home, I noticed that the BILL OF SALE was missing... Suspicious, isn't it? Well, it turns out that the extra fees were indeed listed on the bill of sale. When I confronted her about the missing paperwork and the misrepresentation of the HIDDEN additional fees, she tried to cover it up by claiming there was a miscommunication and that they typically don't provide a BILL OF SALE. This is puzzling since I've purchased over 15 vehicles and have always received a BILL OF SALE in my paperwork.I wish I could say this was the end of the matter... However, it is now September and we have made multiple requests for a refund, but I still haven't received a satisfactory response as to why it hasn't been reimbursed to us or to the finance company. I have sent emails, but all I get are excuses or no replies. They have shown no accountability for their misrepresentations despite my continual attempts to resolve.

Unexpectedly I received a text from Sport Mazda the morning after disappointing trips to a few dealers on my side of town. Because I visited in the dealers in the network, the internet team (as I later found out they were called) contacted me and asked if I was still interested in purchasing a Mazda and made it interesting stating they had a larger selection to choose from. Indeed, it's true. I later found out they are the fourth largest Mazda dealer by volume in the country. Fast forward. Ashley, one of the sales managers emailed me with a list of SUV's in my price range and then arranged a time for my wife and I to test drive them. Luis was the sales rep that Ashley connected us with for our time at the dealer. I highly recommend Luis. He is personable, yet professional and very knowledgeable. Our time test driving was low key, low stress, and I was happy about that. The cost of the SUV was itemized and our time with Mayeline in Finance was, again, very good. I've since returned to get some work completed under warranty and experienced a very well run and communicative Service group. I have no reservations about referring friends and family here.
