If there was 6/5 I would. At very least for the service. Dani was superb: attentive, helpful and not overbearing. Her advice was solid and she would expertly probe into what we want. The pace of the restaurant is great - they bring the first portion quick so you won't feel hangry and then slowly space out so you would have time for a good conversation.Last but not least - the food quality is superb.

We only stopped for a drink waiting for the rain to pass and ended up here for two hours eating, drinking and having a brilliant time! Our server was excellent, well versed on gluten free options, the drinks were tasty and the service was outstanding. The pulled beef with coconut rice is my new firm favourite!!

This was a fun experience. Rum bar with sharing style entrees of hispanic/jamaican fare. The atmosphere is relaxed, with some sports in the background. Service throughout our experience was fantastic. Offered suggestions on what to try based off of our preferences in spice and flavor. Drinks were well made and came out very quickly. Prices are a bit higher, $15+ for a drink and $17-$25 per entree. Each entree came with roughly 2 servings. We ordered tacos, cevice and empanadas with two cocktails. Paid $80ish for meal, $95ish with tip.

First, I suggest reservations, we were lucky to get a table at all without one. Second, the food is what I would call a medium tapas portion, 2 dishes per person is about right. Third, the fries are not a side dish that comes with the meal (they are $6), the waiter will casually ask what side you want and insinuate it’s part of one of the meals. Our fault for not asking, don’t let them scam you too!As for the food, it was middle of the road. The steak on the surf and turf was good, but the shrimp was undercooked and a bit raw. The shrimp tostada was good and did have a little spicy to it, but nothing crazy. The burger sliders were ok, very salty with lots of onion and the ham and cheese rolls were very good and were the highlight of the meal.Overall, we don’t regret eating here, but it’s also not a place we’d return.

There is one guy you want to be talking to at Strong Water Tavern. The man, the myth, the legend…Enrique. He will make you an off-menu drink that will blow your socks off. Thanks bud! Hope to see you again soon.

Let me just give a shout-out to THE MAN, THE MYTH, THE LEGEND...ENRIQUE!This guy brings elite mixology without the pretentious attitude. He listens to what you want, and crafts the perfect drink every time. I got the chance to sit at the main station at the bar. As a former bartender, watching him work was great. He listened to my preferences and elevated my favorite cocktails, mixing ingredients I never thought about. This man is a gem; his skills are sky high. Go see him!

Not good at all this visit. Magical last year. All three orders we put in this time were just poor. Pork tacos all fat, goat curry all fat, and the most pathetic portion of jerk chicken. All that rum and they couldn't make me a mojito?Wastes 79 bucks. Waiter didn't even come back and I had to stand at my table for 10 minutes to get anyone's attention to get my check to leave.

Starting off with the location in Sapphire Falls hotel at Universal Studios Orlando, it is just a little tucked away, cozy and lively at the same time, only a few large tables inside, but relaxing loungey low tables and chairs otherwise, with a fire pit on the patio. Kathleen, our wait person was attentive and wonderful, even going so far as to take off the chicken tenders that were not the best from the check. The star of the meal was the grilled octopus, delicious and tender. The jerk chicken was the most authentic I've had outside of Jamaica. Did not like the coconut rice, was more like a dessert than a savory side. Goat curry also authentic flavors but a little too spicy. The Agua chile shrimp was quite tasty and the breadfruit tostones was nice but not a repeat order. The cheese board was the most expensive thing we ordered at $40, Everything else ranged between $14-$21. It was absolutely worthwhile. Did I mention these are essentially tapas meals but very shareable. We are not big drinkers but Strong Water Tavern have hundreds of rums on the menu and you can even order rum flights, as well as being a full service bar. All in all, was such a wonderful experience , ready to go back tonight. Executive chef Carlos Castano has done a wonderful job curating the flavors.
