Was hesitant about selecting a neighborhood location. Decided with Crowne Plaza because I've stayed at the hotel prior. The leasing professional, Chevy (I believe. Hard hearing behind the mask), was extremely helpful. He went above and beyond with ensuring my car was available, clean,

This place is a literal kiosk in the corner of a hotel staffed by the most apathetic associates I've ever seen. My reason for renting a car for a week was due to my vehicle being in the shop and my only expectation was decent transportation to and from work and even that low bar was too much for this location. The car had a visible nail in the tire that required air every other day, probably hadn't had an oil change in a year based on its fuel usage for that week, and was "the only one available unless I wanted an upgrade." It also had "just come back from the mechanic" and "had just been cleaned" but I found receipts and someone's water bottle under the driver's seat. I don't doubt that there's a rental car shortage and if I'd had more time I'd probably just walked away but I needed a car. I figured I'd call their customer service line and see what could be done, but after 2 calls I gave up after waiting on hold for 45 mins each. This seems common. At any rate, just go to enterprise. It's worth the extra money.

Horrible never again! Two hour waiting line to just pick up car. Drove it two days when battery died leaving me stranded. 40 min wait on phone but they hung up on me twice so my phone battery began to die. No road side service. Thrifty told me to drive back to Orlando airport (not allowed to use local office) but the drive would have been 1.5 hours but again I had DEAD battery so how could I?!I finally called my own AAA who came WITH a new battery for me to purchase ($150).....dealing with them for battery reimbursement a nightmare. I was told that Thrify employees have a scam where they remove and sell new battery easily while replacing an old corroded battery into rental car

Who runs this place? We showed up and there were four groups who prepaid waiting to pick up their cars and no one was at the counter? We all ended up leaving, some waited three hours. ReBooked with Alamo. You suck, Thrifty and Priceline.

Giving the Thrifty company a one-star is too much but it won't let me leave no stars...or more appropriately negative stars. Flew into Orlando not knowing that the Thrifty I rented from was 30 minutes from the airport...after a $60 taxi drive, my elderly mother, myself and 3 teenage daughters find Thrifty closed at 1:00pm. A fact that was never disclosed to me in any on my confirmation emails! We arrived at 3:00 pm. At the desk, there are two after-hour numbers to call...neither one are answered and the voice mails are not set up. Calling the Thrifty "800" number takes me somewhere over seas in a third world country where they barely speak English and do not care that I am stranded in downtown Orlando. Find my way to an Enterprise and paid twice the amount of my original rental car (although expensive, I can't say enough good things about Enterprise and will leave them a 5-star rating after this). The next morning I'm in Daytona Beach (first day of vacation) calling Thirfy because I'm still going to be charged the rental fee even if I dont use the car! Again, I am on the phone the the third-world country trying to explain that it is their fault and not mine. Bottom line...I will NEVER rent from Thirfty or it affiliates again....and I will tell whoever will listen not to rent from them. Their customer service is beyond horrible and their company policies are terrible. If you want to have a nice, relaxing vacation, DO NOT RENT FROM THIRFTY!!!! I highly recommend Enterprise!

Scam artists. I was scheduled to return the vehicle at this location at 11AM. When I returned it, I took pictures of the dash (read about the gas overcharges) and a few pictures of the vehicle just in case. When I got to the counter, they were visibly busy, so when it was my turn, the agent just told me to leave the keys at the desk and I was set. I was surprised they did not bother looking at the car or checking the gas. Knowing they were busy, and having the pictures I took, I said ok and left. Next, I receive the bill showing a charge for an additional day. This is what you get for being helpful. Nice job with the joy ride for an additional day desk staff.

Truly terrible service from both Thrifty and Priceline. Impossible to get in touch with and inconvenient hours. Just go with another service. Slightly cheaper prices cannot be worth the level of grief we have gone through. UPDATE the car they gave us had a broken fuel line. Made it barely 20 minutes before we had to pull over and get on hold with their tow service for an hour. We called the front desk and thrifty's customer service line over 30 times. No answer at the desk and no help from thrifty. However! The people working the desk were very nice and easy to work with. They are doing their best with the situation they have been put in by Thrifty.

I have an email confirmed reservation for this location. I took a 25 minute Uber ride to get to the location, leaving my wife and child at the hotel. Upon arriving, the desk simply stated they were overbooked and had no more cars for me. They offered no additional explanation or help, but just left me stranded. I had to walk across a highway to find an enterprise... I’d recommend staying far away from this place!

Renting from Thrifty at the Crowne Plaza on West Colonial Drive in Orlando, Fl was horrible! We were given a car that had just been dropped off. Literally! When we go to the car, the gas tank was empty. The gas indicator light was on! That’s how empty it was. The car was filthy! My kids did not even want to sit in it, that’s how filthy it was. My husband goes inside and tells the employee who assigned us the car that he wants a different car and explains to her why. She tells him that if he wants he can wait for the car detailer to come clean the car (he was not on location) because they had no other cars available. Mind you, there were at least 4-6 cars belonging to them, in the lot. She also told him we would not be charged for dropping the car off with no gas because it had no gas in it when we picked it up. She even told us which gas station to go to because we didn’t think we could make it to a gas station with whatever gas fumes it had left in the tank. Anyways, we take the car because we had no other choice and felt lucky that we even got one because there were customers being told that they had no cars left/available! Two days later when we go drop off the car, the counter is closed! It was 5:15 and, according to their posted hours of operation, they weren’t supposed to close until 6! So needless to say their was no one there. We returned the car with some gas in it, not full but not empty. Imagine how shocked I was when the next morning I check my email and see that on my statement I am being charged $161.00 for GAS!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! I will never return to this location and will never recommend it to anyone! This location should just be shut down!!

The absolute worst place to rent a car. I reserved a car 2 days prior to arrival and arrived today only to be told that they don't have any inventory. I called one hour prior to confirm the reservation and it was never mentioned that there was no inventory. Come to find out, this location doesn't even have a phone and the Thrifty number on the website is not associated with the location. I was told that I could get on a waiting list and cars would be given out, first come, first serve. Needless to say, after 2 uber cars later and $45 extra, I am headed to the airport to get a car.

The customer service at this place is terrible!! I made a reservation that morning for a car, got a friend to drop me off at this location and I was then informed by the representative that there are no cars available. She was very rude from the start and never bothered to look up at the computer. I walked in and she shouted “there are no more cars!”. I proceeded to explain that I have a reservation and I’m not a walk-in customer. She stated that they ran out of cars and are overbooked and for me to call customer service. She also tried to tell me that I ordered the car thru a third party website and that was the cause of the confusion which I did not. I made my reservation thru the Thrifty website. Terrible location and awful service!
