During our recent visit to UCF, we participated in the "Knight for a Day Open House," which turned out to be a highly informative and engaging five-hour experience. The day included a comprehensive campus tour, exploration of various housing options, and valuable insights from the admissions office. Our lunch at the student union center was a highlight, with our group thoroughly enjoying the build-your-own sandwich experience at Which Wich Superior Sandwiches. The abundance of Starbucks outlets across the campus added a familiar touch. The overall impression of the campus was positive - it was clean and expansive, showcasing a large and well-maintained environment. We appreciated the apartment-style living option, finding it preferable to the housing in Libra Center or Hercules. However, it was noted that the campus appeared to have an older charm compared to some of the more recently visited campuses. Despite this, the visit left us with a favorable impression of UCF, especially with its informative sessions, diverse dining options, and overall inviting atmosphere.

Great campus in Orlando, Florida. Very spacious and well kept. This is one of the colleges on my daughter's list for 2024.

There are not enough ways to say how much I love UCF. It is everything I needed and wanted in a college experience. Every day I feel like I meet a fellow alum and we bond over the endless reasons to love this school. Here are my 3 highlights: 1) Location, location, locations. I will be the first to admit that I didn't looooove living in Orlando, but as far as life experience goes this was sooooooo valuable. The internships, the extracurriculars, the distance to the beach, the convenient shopping, and the practical accessibility. I mean it's 20 minutes away from an international airport. 2) Value. College debt is pretty standard for a lot of us and UCF offers a lot of education at a very competitive price. There are also plenty of resources available for students (free, or at least at decent prices) Even if you don't live on campus you can use the gym, the print lab, and so much more. Oh and if you are a Rosen student like myself you get a membership to the Y. Even the student living is more affordable than a lot of schools. 3)The people. I met and continue to meet the most incredible people thanks to UCF. There is so much diversity in the students and professors. It makes for a lot of unique experiences, friendships, opportunities, and more. Overall the people are the best part (probably). Bonus highlight: Easy color palette, swanky logo, and fab mascot. Everyone is going to complain about parking, and yes okay it's a little traumatizing. However it's a trade off and nothing in life is perfect. Go Knights. Charge the heck on.

My time at UCF was short since I completed a dual enrollment program. However, my time here was also one of the best experiences. Meeting new people, learning different curriculum, & continuously creating memories! There are some cons depending on the college you become a part of & the professors. Advisors could never help & I ended up creating my schedule all the way to graduation. Parking...is a joke--there are way too many students & not enough parking; I chose to not even buy a decal & park in garage F if it was absolutely necessary. The best part besides the ones mentioned is that I met my absolute favorite person in the world who happens to be the love of my life. UCF was the best decision I made in every way possible!

In town for a soccer game at UCF; very nice field; enjoyed the game; hope the school takes care of the lighting on the field though; seems that one of the light posts was out; of note, the mascot was very nice and took the time to take photos with the kiddies and generally just engage those in attendance. :o)

1500 students in one class. Teachers (I use that term loosely) just put a grad student in front of you and could care less if you are taught. Computer science 1 professor says "you don't need that" but guess what? CS 2 professor says I should know this. U Can't Finish.... Yeah that's about right. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. This school only cares about their bottom line.

To keep it short and sweet: This school is a complete failure. The professors, excluding Samsam, Flory, and maybe 2 or 3 others, are terrible. If you want to be in crippling debt with no real experience gained from University this is your place. Take it from someone who is doing a Master's Degree here, where all of the professors outsource youtube videos from other teachers / lecturers on youtube to teach their entire class -- Just for you to get a piece of paper reassuring your future employer that you learned something. **EDIT** Due to my review, an angry Tri-Delt UCF Knight in grad school, condemned my reviews and cognitive ability because of my opposition to her belief on what Yelp's role is -- Mediating information to the general public. They stated that I'm hurting local businesses and that most of my reviews are rated poorly (which they aren't, you can do the basic math to see that most of my reviews are positive). She further insulted me -- using labels to state that I'm unintelligent and non-credible in my Yelp DMs! This only further concludes that my 1 star for this University is justified. These are the students that represent "Greek life", a student-body that plays a pivotal role in what students experience! Rather than want to discuss and/or tell me about their experience at UCF to maybe influence a change in my opinion, they decided to be primal! Incredible! They then stated that they'll share our private DMs in her private story -- Meaning: She gets a laugh out of it. These are your students.
