I inherited this company from the former homeowner. You have to pay them monthly to be a customer. My credit card is only attached for this monthly charge and it was hacked due to their faulty security. After a week I got an email stating they had canceled my service.When I brought this up I was told " we don't know about that" they don't care. During my 2.5 years of service with them they always find a way to make more off of you by finding something " wrong" Their service technician hates when you're home to watch them as well because they can't just not do the job and walk off. As stated in previous review they offer you the multi level plan after they find something " wrong" . I was told once that the part they replaced would reduce my power bill and the work was 600.00, it didn't do anything to reduce the power bill. I actually watched the technician do the preventative maintenance this summer and he half way did it. This credit card hack cinched it for me and I'll find another service. What worries me is they've done a lot of rigging on my system and that'll have to be fixed at a cost to me as well. I work on things for a living as well and I'm not fooled by shoddy work. There are plenty of AC people in Orlando so find a more reputable one!

Joe was great! Very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, super patient detailing our options. Zero pressure to upsell us on anything, simply laid out the info and let us decide. Very pleased with our service!

Our AC went out on a holiday weekend and vortechs was the only place that really offered 24/7 service and sent out a technician!!! Our technician Joe was absolutely wonderful!!;

Very happy to have chosen Vortechs for my air conditioner. They were very prompt in getting someone out to fix the problem. Joe was very thorough in his explanation in what caused the unit to stop working and the steps that were needed to get it going again. He took the time to show me how to easily work the thermostat, which I have always hated and how to maintain the handler for optimum performance. Felt like I was in good hands.

Excellent communication from the office, and on-site service was excellent by Joseph, and I believe, Lincoln. Very professional, great communication and very thorough in assessing the problem and resolving it. They installed my split AC unit back in 2019, which is why I called them to repair an issue it was having. Two thumbs up!!

Joe and his team worked diligently to source an alternative for a long-lead (1 month!) A/C part and provided expedited repair service on an A/C unit in my home. He is very thorough in diagnosing and explaining any problems. I'm very satisfied with his clear communication and status updates throughout the repair process. I definitely plan to use Vortechs for future A/C work.

We love the honest and fair service we receive from Vortech. Originally, several years ago, we had five companies try to figure out what was wrong with our unit and this company was the only one to find the problem. Our a/c is still working like new. You will not be disappointed when using Vortech.

We recently completed our second project with Vortechs and were very pleased with the quick turnaround of receiving a proposal, answering our questions and completing the project. Everyone we dealt with was courteous, professional and really cared about helping us.

I have been using Vortechs for about 9 years after having an issue with another large ac company here in Orlando. They consistently prove that prompt communication and customer service are a priority and combine that with effective maintenance and repair. After coming home from a business trip to find my AC was not working, I called Vortechs at 7:15am on a Saturday morning. The answering service said they would try and get a technician out the same day if possible. At 8:18am I received a call from Vortechs asking me if they could send someone out right away, which of course was a surprise to hear something so quickly. At 9:03am, Joseph who is the owner of Vortechs arrived. I've know Joseph for years and he has been the one who has been servicing my unit as part of my annual service plan. He went right to work. Joseph determined the issue was a short that tripped the safety switch. After testing all of the wiring and a replacement of the safety device, Joseph had my unit up and running by 10:30am. Since I am a maintenance plan member, Joseph said since this was a minor fix (although I lost count the number of times he has to go up and down my stairs) he said that he would only charge the diagnostic fee and no additional charges for the repair. I am continually impressed by Vortechs which explains why they have been my go-to for the last 9 years, except for a short stint with the company my home builder used when I moved. They were a total joke, so I went right back to Vortechs. I've referred them to others whenever asked and can't say enough positive things about Joseph and his team.

Joe was extremely helpful, professional and a super nice guy. He diagnosed and fixed our A/C problem in less than an hour. he didn't disrupt our working.

Very expensive. Initially quoted 1800$ and gave some discount. having manufactured warranty. Didn’t let me know what parts he put in.
