Walgreens is a mixed bag, to be honest. On one hand, it's super convenient to have one almost everywhere, and for quick essentials or over-the-counter meds, it's fine. The pharmacy, however, is a different story. I've experienced consistently long wait times, even with prescriptions called in ahead of time. Staff can be hit or miss – some are helpful, but I've encountered quite a few who seem overwhelmed or uninterested, especially in the pharmacy. If you need something fast and simple, it works, but for anything requiring more personalized service or a pharmacy visit, be prepared for potential frustration and delays. It really depends on the specific store, so your mileage may vary.

Rude cashiers that don’t greet or even thank customers for shopping.
Not even a smile let alone eye contact.
Definitely Not a safe location, with homeless & obvious drug users & lurkers sitting outside on the side of the building.
Totally sketchy Parking lot.
This has been my experience on multiple occasions.
Next time I’ll drive out of my way to avoid returning.

I came in because I forgot to bring a few things for my quick getaway. Everything was easy to find, I asked this young lady to help me find sleeping earbuds and she was kind about it. Prices seem higher than other Walgreens though could just be my imagination.

Pharmacy department is by far the worst I’ve ever encountered at Walgreens. The Pharmacist Carmen had no empathy at all whatsoever to our situation. We are traveling on vacation and she flat out refused to refill my mother’s pain medication that she has been getting through Walgreens for at least the last 7 years. When we left our state it was not time for my mom to get a refill, our local Walgreens told us that we shouldn’t have any issues refilling that medication out of state. My mom has multiple health issues and that particular medication is the only thing that helps her enough for her to be able to move and function. I wish I could give that pharmacist 0 stars.

The biggest issue with this Walgreens in that it is frequently understaffed at the checkout. Prices are higher than other locations, seemingly due to its proximity to Universal. Well stocked with most items, but not worth the often long line for a single cashier.
