After 9 years of good service from the Walmart Specialty pharmacy I must take my prescriptions elsewhere. The last few months have been a nightmare. They call, take info...the order is never processed! I have to call several times and pray it gets shipped to me.

As many people mention in the reviews, this is not a pharmacy that is open to the public, but rather a warehouse specialty pharmacy. That’s not why I give it one star.I worked at this specialty pharmacy for about six months. I’ve worked in pharmacy for about ten years, and this has to be the most mismanaged place I’ve ever been employed with. Micromanaging is INSANE. You have to notify your supervisor if you want to pee. Also, nobody seems to know what’s going on with things like schedules, policies and procedures, etc. There were multiple occasions I would ask managers questions and they would dismissively tell me, “I don’t know.” One coworker died in the parking lot from heart problems, so, pretty stressful environment.Worst of all, customer care is ATROCIOUS. Employees are told to call patients to set up deliveries, just to have to wait on hold for innumerable minutes for someone in another department to be available. Why wouldn’t we have things ready to go before contacting the patient?? Awful for everyone involved. Sadly because of insurance, a lot of folks can’t even choose which pharmacy to fill their prescriptions with, so telling you to go elsewhere probably isn’t helpful. Just know what you’re getting into.

Every single month that I refill my chemo, there's a problem and I get it weeks late. Who's running walmart Specialty Rx? Do they realize people like me NEED these meds ON TIME? Do they even care? Frustrating! and calling is futile, because you'll get several different "patient care managers" all telling you different reasons why meds can't be dispensed.Never had this much trouble with Optum, one time there was, they kept in touch with me until resolved. Customer service and patient care are not WMSRx priority.

This pharmacy is impossible. I spoke with 4 different managers since last Monday the 21st of February to have my Childs medication by her injection date which was that following Thursday. The supervisor told me that the soonest she could get it was Friday February 25th. So when Friday comes I get a phone call from the pharmacist saying they need to talk to me before they process my Childs order. I call again Monday February 28th I spoke with Noland and he gave me his word that he would put my child on a calendar as a friendly reminder so she gets her medicine on time. Noland takes my updated credit card to process my Childs medicine just for an employee to call me back because they used a different credit that I didn’t authorize them to use. So here we are on March 1 on the phone with pharmacist who clearly are not competent to do there job again about my daughter who is now 1 week a half late on her medications. I politely told the last supervisor that I was recording this call and you staffs incompetence is opening a window for me to sue the pharmacy. No notes made to the account no empathy for my childs pain her bleeding blood cause she had not had her medication due to the ignorance of these people. And I’m tired of it. So clearly noted that if my child goes back to the hospital due to this pharmacy trust you don’t have to worry about not sending her medication due to payment. Cause my lawyers will make sure y’all (Walmart specialty pharmacy) pay for it the rest of her life if she don’t get her medicine today March 2, 2022. All y’all calls should be recorded anyway due to your employees barely being about to hear or do their jobs correctly.

Terrible waste of time on hold speaking to people you can't understand and won't speak up so you can hear them. My average wait time on hold 25 minutes to 45 minutes.

worst place to get your prescription refilled. had to wait 2 weeks to get a medication after several calls.each time i call they have different answers for me. not recommended for patients with any severe conditions

Its a great place to work the best for me atleast. The managers and other staff are very kind and understanding to there employees that are going through tough Situations in there personal life and make them feel like going to working is a calming time in there life everyday im at home there wth everyone. And I love how they teach us to go 110% to help our PT! That also is a great feeling I am eager to be trained in other settings to learn further ways to help myself and others to live a better life. Thank you Walmart Specialty Family.?❤
