“Interesting gallery. Loaded with glass and regular art, mostly modern but not offensive. Rich Puckett was very helpful, with good details and explanations. If we lived in that area I could see going there to locate some art. A bit tough to find, along a strip outside downtown Sarasota, but parking around back makes it EZ.”
“Define Art Gallery is a recent and welcome addition to Palm Ave. I’ve truly enjoyed repeated visits to the gallery before finally buying a beautiful and intriguing painting. Both the owner and her employees provide a friendly and relaxed experience, introducing me to the various artists, their histories and styles. I love the youthful vibe, along with more traditional styles. There is a great mix of artwork, which makes me think young people starting a collection will find accessible painting that they’ll treasure over a lifetime. At the same time, there is plenty for an octogenarian like me to love.”
“I called the store this morning to see if I could find my daughter a similar grass small pot which I bought when she was visiting us in Florida. The manager went out of his way to try to find another.
He found the faux plant and when I asked if he could ship it to me in Michigan, he said while they normally do not do that, he would do me the favor of shipping it to me.
That is what I call EXCEPTIONAL service.

“This is an absolute delight. We visited their gallery in Big Cypress National Preserve and what a surprise. Gorgeous location and very atmospheric to suit the gallery to perfection. The Venice gallery was large and we spent over an hour enjoying the photography and speaking with the terrific staff. The timeline of Clyde and his family’s life was fascinating and his work rivals Ansel Adam’s. A must stop either in Venice or Ochopee.”
