We recently visited the Walmart Supercenter in Osprey, FL, and it was a generally positive experience.
The store’s layout is straightforward and familiar, which made navigation easy. The aisles are well-organized, and the store was clean and well-maintained. While the overall cleanliness was good, there were a few areas that seemed a bit cluttered, but nothing that significantly detracted from the shopping experience.
The product selection at this Walmart Supercenter was impressive. The grocery section was well-stocked with fresh produce, meats, dairy products, and pantry staples. The bakery section offered a nice variety of breads and pastries. Additionally, the store had a good assortment of household items, electronics, clothing, and seasonal goods. The breadth of products available made it easy to find everything on my shopping list.
Pricing at this Walmart was competitive, as expected. The store frequently features promotions and rollback prices, which offer great value. The prices were generally lower than those at other retailers, making it a good choice for budget-conscious shoppers.
Customer service was another highlight of the visit. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the checkout process was efficient. The self-checkout lanes were a convenient option for quicker purchases, and the staff manning these stations were available to assist as needed.
Parking was ample, with plenty of spaces available close to the entrance. The store’s accessibility features, such as wide aisles and clear signage, contributed to a comfortable shopping experience. Additionally, having amenities like an on-site pharmacy and vision center added to the convenience.
Our visit to the Walmart Supercenter in Osprey, FL, was quite satisfactory. The combination of a wide product range, competitive pricing, and good customer service makes it a reliable choice for grocery shopping and more. While there’s room for improvement in terms of store organization, the overall experience was positive.

I went there today with some returns and the Customer Service was closed and dark! I was told it was due to their system being down all day, yet for the next hour I noticed she wasn't even in Customer Service checking on it!!

Recently Walmart decided to reorganize their store for no reason - probably just some up-and-coming corporate consultant trying to make a name for themselves by fixing something that isn't broken - making it extremely difficult for shoppers like myself who have been coming here for about a decade to find the products that I bought every week. I'm sure the sales numbers reflect my opinion since the remodel. Half of the products are either not offered anymore or tucked away in some random spot that I cannot find. Do you need one of those giant wicker hats for when you work in your yard outdoors - well too bad - for some reason we just don't have those anymore. Or maybe we do, I don't know, why don't you walk around the store three times checking four different departments just to confirm whether or not we sell them. I don't know about you but as a 50 plus year old man with bad knees I don't want to spend any extra time walking back and forth in an already enormous store trying to find a box of cookies. It's kind of hard to sell cookies when people can't find the cookies right?
But aside from that, my particular experience today, that has sent me to the review page, so that I can express my frustration, is with one particular employee who decided that, since they were running late to work, it was okay to steal my parking spot that I had been patiently waiting for, for about 3 minutes, because I have a truck with a side door and I need a certain type of parking spot to get my $250 worth of groceries into my truck.
I politely waited for her to park and get out of her vehicle and I said "excuse me I was waiting for that parking spot", but she was too busy talking on her phone to even look at me. She walked right past me so I pulled up to the stop sign by the front door and as she walked by I rolled down my window and again I stated "I was waiting for that parking spot you know?" Again ignored completely while she talked on her phone strutting through the front door wearing her blue vest.
I then spent about 10 minutes finding a new parking spot and I came inside and spoke with the front end manager Jeff, explained to him what happened and how rude she was and his response was "well today is her last day but I'll talk to her."
When I got to the checkout line an hour and a half later she was up at the front smiling and laughing still wearing her blue vest but for some reason no name tag, so I don't know her name. We made eye contact but we didn't speak to each other.
So to the girl with no name tag 'thanks a lot' for making me find a second parking spot that can accommodate my vehicle and giving me the final push to say I'm going to start shopping at a different Walmart.

Dirty, small very crowded. Got in and straight out. However ordering online and delivery was so much better, however, if you don't catch what they are out of (which was a lot) they substitute it with something more expensive and not the same price or cheaper.
