I called their number late in the day, asking if I could bring my car in and recharge its A/C. The man on the phone told me frankly, there were too many appointments to fit me in. BUT he was extremely friendly and even asked me questions about my car. He explained what the issue and solution was likely to be, even though it was near closing time and he wouldn’t even be getting my money to work on the car. Finally he gave me the number of a friend of his (John Jarvis LLC) to call so I could get it fixed sooner.
All in all, I felt this was exceptional customer service and I really appreciated it, as someone who is a bit naive when it comes to car repairs.

“In this day and age it’s hard to find a shop with honest people but I can say the crew at Gaines are some of the honest and best people you can have working on your vehicle. My truck was having some transmission issues and I took it to Gaines expecting to be told I needed a transmission or a rebuild done. Which is what most places will tell you. They did an inspection and just did a full drain and fill on my transmission and it works and feels like a new transmission!! I highly recommend Gaines for any and all repairs”
“The price they quoted me before getting into the job was very very close to the price walking out the door. They saw a problem in changing my tires and let me know and let me know how much it would be for them to do it. They also got done with get a whole lot quicker than I thought they would. LOL”

“My wife was on her way home when she noticed she was losing air quick. I was able to help her get her tire changed and her spare on and get her on her way to where we live in Milton. She was going to go straight to Pep Boys in Milton and get the tire repaired or replaced. She called them about 5:45 and they told her she would be better off bringing it in a different day. She said forget that and drove to the Pep Boys in Pace. There she encountered two employees, Chaya and David that went above and beyond to help her get her tire repaired one hour prior to their closing. They set the bar for the other employees there and get this location 5 stars. The store in Milton will not get any more of our business and pales in comparison to the crew in Pace.”
“From the first call to getting the keys after getting a new A/C, I would have given them a 5. Dani and Jeremy were helpful and informative…Thx! When I got in my car, I found fingerprints in several places on my car…very disappointed!”
