“The last 12months I have bought 3 new rifles, 4 scopes and one shotgun from them. They are knowledgeable, friendly and professional. They went out of their way to please me. The prices were great , too! Also, they have wonderful gunsmiths. I like the way they do business. Thanks!”
“Great range of products! You find what you’re looking for most of the time. TBS is one of the biggest comic book stores in the Florida panhandle, and they have helped bring community to the nerds in the area. However, I feel that the staff wasn’t very friendly or welcoming during a particular visit. My girlfriend and I waited in line to buy what we had found, and after the person in front of us left, the cashier completely ignored us so he could hang out with his kid for a minute. Someone else had to alert him to our presence. We both felt very ignored in that moment and I have heard testimonies from my girlfriend about how unwelcoming they are to women. I understand that TBS is family owned, and I have no problem with a father showing love to his son, but in your place of work, you should also prioritize the needs of the customer, and make them feel welcome in your space.”
“Great little bait and tackle shop. The owner is always friendly. Sometimes you have to wait for her to come out of the house. She always has live bait . The only bad thing is cash only. So just plan ahead and bring cash money. I enjoy shopping with her. Support your local small business .”
“Mike was absolutely amazing helping me figure out everything I needed! Beginning something new can be overwhelming and he helped me get fitted and gave me a lot of great pointers. They gave good used sets for ladies as well to get started at a lower price :)”
“I came in looking for cowboy boots and found a great selection. Leah was very helpful and I ended up buy two pair, and, even found a beautiful pair of boots for my wife :)We will definitely be back.”
“I had found an Olhausen 8ft. 3 piece slate table for sale locally and had these guys move it from the sellers location to my house. They were quick and precise on taking apart the table as well as putting it back together. The job itself took around 2-3 hours including the 6 mile drive in-between locations. While the weather had been rainy and thankfully gave us a break for the drive, they wrapped up the parts in cloth and tarp just in case. Overall I'm very happy with their service.”
“I used to go to academy when I lived in Virginia and I prefer this store for most of my outdoor equipment better that bass pro or Cabela's and I worked for both companies..”
“We had an awesome experience at this location with the new manager Virginia, thank you! She's very kind and very helpful. She helped us order something from another store and the other store brought it to this store within a day or two.”
“While I didn't purchase anything due to the amount of school age kids in the mall, Zach was extremely helpful and welcoming compared to the shoe stores we visited in the mall. I mean of all the stores we visited he was the only person that left my wife and I with a great impression. We will be back to purchase our shoes from this store due to Zach. Where we're from customer service is top priority and friendly attitudes are everywhere. Thank you Zach from the Cajun and Jamaican couple you made laugh”
“Good up beat store. Real inviting. Be careful about which shoes you pick, And which ones you can order online from nike.com. I just ordered the ice cream cone themed bikes for my daughter. Only $72 online at nike.com. in this store i guess you pay for convenience because the same exact shoe and size was $20-$30 MORE. I did buy 2 pairs in here only because I could tell which colors I liked online. I was told they bought out Hibbit sports, finish line, and foot locker so its odd they dont price match from the same companies”
“Wow!! This store blew me away. From the time I walked in the door I was greeted by the friendly manager who told me her name was Rayna and she helped me with my purchase of hats I was gifting and from beginning to end she was so helpful! She really made my day. My family and friends loved the hats I picked out for them of all their favorite sports teams and I will be returning soon!”
“Well everyone I have been to this Dicks Sporting Goods two times once back in May of last year and this year this month and this time I got a Flo Glown aka Florida Grown shirt for a very good price and as usual every location I have been to whether it is the Pier Park North location in PCB, Florida, Kennesaw, Georgia even though it was converted to a Dicks House of Sports since I have been gone from the Atlanta area as of 2015, Newnan, Georgia at the Forum at Ansley Park, Mall of Georgia in Buford, Georgia they have all been super nice and clean definitely will be back! 😁 Only thing is it does cost more than Academy Sports though as whole, and sometimes I have been disappointed with the other for mentioned locations but not this location though! 👍🏻”
