Walgreens receives mixed reviews regarding customer service and store operations. Some customers report consistently great service, a clean store, and praise the staff for going above and beyond, especially with photo orders and prescription assistance. The location is considered convenient for prescriptions and adding money to cards with low fees. However, several customers report significant frustrations. A common complaint involves incorrect sale pricing on items like candy, with management perceived as unhelpful in resolving these errors. The pharmacy drive-through and inside service are described as very frustrating and time-consuming due to a single line handling both prescriptions and COVID testing, leading to long waits with only one staff member visible. Some customers experience unhelpful service when deals or paper booster coupons are mishandled at the register, leading to unresolved issues where employees direct customers to call a helpline instead of fixing mistakes in the store. While one employee was commended for persistently securing a Good Rx discount, other interactions are characterized as bad customer service where mistakes are not corrected. The overall experience varies, leading some long-time customers to consider switching to prescription delivery due to the inconsistency and frustration.
Pharmacy often closed due to emergency, I understand that you might have a shortage of pharmacist, however, I don't understand why we can't have an technician there to enable us to pick up prescriptions which were already filled,

I see why it's a 2.4 rating. I needed to get my meds and yes it was 5:58 and as I walk up to the pharmacy window they lower the security window and then ignore my taps on the window. Then have the nerve to tell me they close at 6. That's customer service that will make people shop elsewhere.

Needs to learn about process improvement. Why is a car sitting at the drive through not completely a transaction for 15 mins. Horrible.
