“First of all, when I spoke to Dan he had been the seventh person in the budget customer service line that I had spoken to; from our original rental location in Pompano who knowingly gave us a wonky truck to the roadside assistance, to the one 800-gobudget customer service line. He was the only person that was able to help us. Just his tone and mannerism immediately puts you at ease. We were having a very urgent situation where we needed to be in a certain location by 4 PM and we had a truck that was not working properly. Dan was able to help us fix the situation. Even while following protocol. But he didn’t make you feel like there was nothing that can be done for your situation. He’s very attentive and did all that he could to help us while making us feel at ease in a very stressful situation. He went above and beyond in customer service. We left out of there though we were going to be late to our appointment (not Dan’s fault by the way) feeling like we were well taken care of. Thank you Dan for all your hard work it just takes a little bit to make customer service a plus.Also want to give a shout out to Paul who went above and beyond to assist us in getting business taken care of with roadside assistance. They went above and beyond what is needed for customer service. All the help they gave us they truly did not have to do and we are totally appreciative of their help. They were doing things that the Pompano location SHOULD have been doing to assist us. You guys rock!!!”

“This worked out great. Only needed a van for about 1.5 hours. Gave them a call, they met me there, did everything on his phone really quick, I checked over the van, signed and took pictures and was on my way. Came back, took pictures of the mileage and gas and van and sent that to them. Everything went quick and easy. Would highly recommend.”

“There was no issues picking up truck. The issue was returning to the other location since it was a one way rental. We were told to have it back at 9 am yet the business was locked and when contacted occupant wouldn't return until 1030 am. You would think there would be a couple of reps to receive and dispatch trucjs”
“Telephoned ahead and the associate was superb! She was informative and I had no troubles showing up on time, to pick up my intown moving truck. Clean and ready to be driven. Returning the vehicle was east too. You can drop the key in the drop box if you don’t have time to talk. The receipt is sent through email.”
“The U-Haul truck service on military and Okeechobee was booked up but the young African American lady helped and called the other U-Haul truck center on vista parkway and they had what I needed and reserved it for me so I'm grateful”
“I rented a car trailer online at the North Palm Beach location and called to verify and found out they didn’t have it. The employee was friendly and professional and referred me to the West Palm Beach location and they reserved one for me. When I arrived I found the employees working in a store office with no air conditioning. Apparently broke the previous night. In spite of the hot steamy atmosphere, I was greeted by Mykeria B. She was polite, professional and accommodating. The other staff was equally friendly and helpful. I commend the staff, as it was busy, hot, and customers all needed guidance. What a refreshing experience these days. Thank you!”
“Quiet facility. The yard drivers don’t act like dicks. There’s ample lighting at the facility but not placed in such a way where it’s gonna shine inside your truck. Restroom access and some vending machines. Also, they seem to alternate the docks for live loads so you’re not parked right next to another driver; there’s a trailer docked between you. If you’re polite and ask, they might be able to let you stay in the door to complete your ten hour reset, or even a little longer. Parking is hard to find here in southern FL so that accommodation goes a LONG way.
Hardly noticed I was being unloaded because the forklift operators weren’t smashing into and out of my truck.
Yes, they will keep you here a long time for unloading. But if you’re not working for a crappy/shady company that utilizes terrible, greedy brokers then you’re going to know that in advance and be able to plan your HOS accordingly. The reviews that give low stars because of unload time shouldn’t blame Walgreens but instead look at the folks who brokered or booked or accepted this haul because the DC is up front about long periods at the dock.”
