“We’ve been coming to the townhouses at Sunset Inn for about 10 years now. This place is literally home away from home. Everyone here just feels like family almost. The only (minor) gripe I have is the maintenance. I have noticed the past several years the up keep has just kinda gone downhill a little. Still a clean place to stay but small repairs for maintenance would truly go a long way.”

“Great place and location. The elevators are an issue. Only three and for much of the time only two were operating. The food is also good at the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was just ok.”

“Bronwin, the owner, was very nice and took my last minute reservation request. She was very hospitable and offers her guests glasses of wine upon arrival. She loves to chat. The atmosphere is great as she has done a lot of lovely landscaping around the pool and hot tub garden area. Pet friendly however NO kids, which was cool with me! My room was cozy, clean and I slept like a baby. Walked across the street to get on the beach. Very historic and relaxing vibe. Some food options and grocery within walking distance. This place is one of those gems for anyone who loves exploring areas to find the places with personality. Will stay again.”

“I’ve stayed at this hotel twice already. It’s not perfect, but it’s great—because it’s right on the beach! Each time, we stay for 9 days, and we have everything we need: the beach, a nice clean room, good food, and it’s close to the center! A fantastic place!”

“I used my Bonvoy awards points to stay for 5 day stay for my birthday, this past week. GREAT EXPERIENCE, LOCATION TO THE BEACH, CLEAN hotel and staff. I would love for the to do better with the breakfast options but I would not hold that against them because I would DEFINITELY stay again. Pier Park was across the street with shops and restaurants. Any and Every store you need is less than 5 minutes away from the hotel. This includes Walmart and Target. Which was so spacious and friendly people. Will Definitely stay again.”
“We stayed in 1802. The master room door to the balcony didn't close all the way, so that room was hot unless you had the AC full blast (then it was frigid). The rooms were great, the view was nice, and Aqua is located in a good location. Down the street from pier park.”

“The property is well maintained and clean. It is quiet, even during spring break. There is a lot to do on and off site. Grocery store, liquor store, and restaurants are close by. The pools and hot tubs are excellent. The private beach is small, but chairs and umbrellas are provided. Bikes are available to ride on 18 acres of property. My husband and I are enjoying our 1 week stay.”

“We had a cottage they are cute, master shower was a bit tight but it worked. Steps to the second floor were metal & narrow alittle scarey for kids but my grandkids seem to manage. However, on the second day my son was coming out of the shower and there was a roach. Pool & Event staff were wonderful, front desk were not too welcoming.”
