Their products are delicious, and kosher! So 5 stars for that. However, they must be very understaffed and disorganized. I ordered a birthday cake over a week in advance- came in person, filled out the paper order and handed it personally to the bakery staff who confirmed everything on it was right. When my husband went to pick up the cake, it wasn’t there. They had no record of it though the bakery supervisor did say she remembered seeing the order or the cake. So.. they made him a brand new one… he did have to wait 20-30 minutes… and then they misspelled my son’s name. Instead of “lev” they wrote “liv” 🤦🏻♀️ I ended up using a knife to smear the I into an E.. and it became a funny story. For the bakery staff’s part, at least they didn’t charge us for the cake. And the cake was delicious… But just double and triple check a few days before to make sure your cake is actually being done… and check the writing before you leave!!!

Normally I like this place but the guy who checks your receipt on the way out was a complete ass. He was pissed that I had all my purchases in my bag and not a cart as he actually had to go to the trouble to look inside the bag. He belittled me and I told him to trust me or get cashiers working so we don't have to do it ourselves. He said, "that's not the way we do things!" I grabbed my receipt back and didn't let him check all my stuff. "This is the way I do things!"

Great place to get items at low unit cost prices, if you shop smart. Most of the items at warehouse clubs like BJ's and Costco are a good deal since they come in bulk. I feel their snacks are usually a good bargain, like this last time I got some dried mango pieces at a fraction of what I would had paid at Publix or other large store. The selection of snacks was good...fruits, chips, cookies, chocolates, etc. I breezed in and out by using the self checkout registers.

The product selection is good, the warehouse is clean and there are plenty of registers, including those for 10 items or less. Coupons are accepted and the gas price is usually the best in the area. Pickup service is convenient albeit a bit slow and not everything is in stock.

We have been members of BJ's Wholesale Club for well over 20 years. I have never written a review of them before, because I didn't think there was a reason to comment (either negatively of positively). I have read quite a few of the reviews here and noted a theme about a lack of customer service. Until today. I arrived to do some serious shopping to fill in many of the staples we use at our house. Paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, plates, cups, etc. You know, a lot of big cases. There were also a lot of smaller items as well. Enough to completely fill one of their huge carts, including the space beneath the basket. As I finished my shopping, feeling pretty good at being able to check off everything but 2 items on my long list, I approached the checkout area. I typically scan the lines to scope out the one which I think will move the quickest. There were plenty of self-checkout lines available, and most had short, or no lines. While I do slightly resent using one of them, I will, if I've only got 10 or so items in my cart. Today was not a self-checkout day! I saw that there was only ONE manned checkout line! But it was empty. At least until I started heading towards it. That's when a family, consisting of a mom, and FIVE kids, with THREE of those huge, very full, carts headed towards it. And they got there first. Well, I thought I'd be stuck waiting for 10, maybe 15 minutes. Not so bad, right, WRONG! After what seemed like 10 minutes, although it was probably only 2-3, the mom, was so busy trying to wrangle all five kids, she hadn't managed to even start emptying her carts onto the checkout belt. Not wanting to camp out all night at the store, I approached a man wearing a different color BJ's shirt, and asked him if there was any chance of opening an additional checkout lane. When he saw my cart behind the three very full ones, he sighed, apologized, and said that staff hours had been drastically cut and there was only one cashier on duty in the entire store. I saw that he had a name tag, but our conversation was so short, I didn't catch it before he turned away, but I did note that his title was "Team Lead". A few seconds after I returned to my cart, I saw this same man head over to the customer service desk and speak to one of the two people behind it. To my surprise (and delight) she walked over to my cart and pushed it towards a closed lane next to the one where I was waiting. Upon opening the checkout lane, she started scanning my items! I tried to help her as much as I could, getting all the small items from deep down in the cart, up on to the belt. I was heading out the door in only 5 minutes, and was very happy. So I wanted to write this review to demonstrate to Mr. Team Lead, (even though he will never read it) that customers really do notice when people, even those in boring, mundane jobs, go the extra mile! And to thank him.

If I could rate it 0 stars, I would. The associate at the front doors was extremely rude because i came in 10 minutes before closing and she tells me to leave in a very condescending manner immediately after i walk in.

The worst customer service ever! They do not honor rewards points and when you try to go ask for help their answer is that they are happy to cancel your membership if you don't want it! Never again!!

This membership club is not the service level nor quality of Costco. In fact in most cases it fails to meet Sam's Club as a membership group. First ... don't expect the staffing to be considered well staffed. You may get in door quicker but you will wait for just about every other thing including very few cashiers. You don't find the samples that others use to entice additional purchases. You will not find the typical cafeteria of hot food area up front either. They do appear to have a tire and battery center however. And getting out the door means one person in an antiquated system trying to catch a thief. Not sure anyone in line is the person they are trying to stop however. Don't people whom steal dart out ??? The only true benefit is their app in which you can load coupons and pay in advance. Shop and scan. The challenge however is leaving where they have one person and one scanner and just move at their snails pace to check for an unpaid item. Consider this the lower end of club shopping and you will not be disappointed.

Possibly a biased review, since I'm not usually a wholesale club shopper - I went shopping with my father who has a BJs membership. The location is tucked inside a little plaza in Parkland. Parking is adequate and it doesn't seem to be crazy like Costco. The gas was advertised at about 15 cents cheaper than the market price at other gas chains, but since I didn't fill the tank I can't say how the line moved or speak to the quality of the gas. We were able to slip in without showing the club card, which in my experience never happens at Costco (weird since I can't actually check out without a membership anyway). The offerings are vast, and the prices seem comparable to other large chains. My major gripe with places like BJs is that unless you need large quantities of product, you wind up spending more (while potentially spending less) to buy extra goods. I didn't find the prices of their fruits and vegetables very competitive, but the meats and cheeses were spot on - but again, if you don't need a 2lb block of cheese or a 10lb bag of chicken, you may not be saving much over the short run. The checkout staff were not very smiley, although the door greeter was extremely friendly. I can see myself returning when I need to buy things such as paper goods or frozen meats and meals...but otherwise I don't see myself returning.

Unfortunately this BJ's doesn't keep good inventory. Checked online for an item and this is the only store within 25 miles that they said carried the item. Drove all the way there only to find out they didn't have it in stock. Smh definitely don't rely on their website/ stock to be accurate online!

I was surprised to see that the store values its customers who pick up more than its customers who want to shop. What is with the parking? Parking spaces for pickups are designated in the middle of the parking lot. It is very hard to find a parking space close to the store. I am so disappointed.

Should be 0 stars.I have been a member for nearly 25 years and have made so many furniture purchases but always items that were in stock in the store. Not online purchases for delivery items. They are definitely the worst wholesale club- I am also a longtime member of Sams and Costco.**** DO NOT even purchase anything online that requires delivery.*****They do not replace damaged items. They use the most ridiculous exchange/ replacement process for damaged items.Damaged broken loveseat from a sofa set means every piece has to be returned. Then wait 30 days plus for refund. And IF the item is available you have to buy again no price match to the original price so if it was on sale too bad you're simply out of luckMarco in Customer service which apparently is in Columbia told us after weeks of calls about a replacement- that you got a low price because you bought a damaged item then told us we have to return everything and repurchase. Well, the item is no longer available and why the hell did you not tell us that weeks ago when we first made contact with you?How are we supposed to know that the item is damaged when it's purchased online and delivered????????Absolute rubbish BJ'S is selling damaged items online to customers, not revealing that they are damaged. Then do not want to make it right by doing a replacement.*****Shame on you, BJ'S you are definitely a sh*# company . Your customer service sucks.*****You have no way of contacting corporate or speaking with a manager. You could write a letter and mail it. It's 2023 seriously.....Phone numbers for corporate are useless there is a permanent message - no one is available and they don't call back if you leave a message.Did some research all the reviews for delivery purchases were horrible.

Love this BJs always clean and easy in easy out. Some people still stand by the registers on line like it's still COVID but just walk passed them eventually they will line up at the registers like the good old days.
