Extremely loud. Workers treat the library like happy hour.

What a disgrace. A public library that's only open to residents? That’s not a library — that’s a gated community for books. Knowledge should be free and accessible, not locked behind a zip code. Parkland is part of Broward County; they’re happy to use county resources when it benefits them, but suddenly it’s members only when it comes to access? This is elitism disguised as policy. A city that puts up a paywall around knowledge isn’t protecting its community... it’s betraying it.

Cute little library owned by the city. Has a very nature like feel inside. Lots of photos of wildlife and the everglades. They even have their own children's section.

LOUD. Staff speaks almost as if they are yelling or screaming. No sense of awareness… this is a library not a concert.

Welcoming staff. Very courteous. A few study rooms would be tremendously invaluable.

The library used to be a peaceful place where people respected the need for quiet. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case. Now, it’s often noisy, with kids yelling and running around while parents and staff seem indifferent to the disruption. It’s really disappointing, as we have been regular users of the library, but now it’s only a place to quickly grab books and leave. I truly hope the library will start enforcing its own rules more strictly to restore the calm atmosphere that once made it so enjoyable.

A great small town library with a surprisingly good selection, staff are friendly, and the space is well kept.

Nice Library but the staff needs training on how to be quiet cuz this is the loudest library I've even been in. I would recommend converting a meeting room or something into the front desk.

This is the LOUDEST library I’ve ever stepped in. A terrible environment for trying to work quietly. The staff speak like they’re trying to talk over a crowd. No respect for other people trying to work and focus in a quiet environment. Trying study in the middle of a construction site would be better than here

Very nice local library with the main library service young adults to mature adults. There is a separate library entrance for children when adults are not allowed unless they are with a child. There are plenty of reminders to have good library etiquette and not to eat, drink, or use cell phones inside. There are only a few communal computers and the staff is very helpful if you can not find what you are looking for. There is a copy machine towards the back, and there are also some summer reading books for a dollar on a side rack. I noticed a small outside area from inside, which would be very nice to sit on a non summer day. Parking is plentiful, and they even have an electric charging station to use during open library hours.

I took my grandson to the Parkland Library. It is a great library. I was told at the main circulation desk to go to the children wing and show my Broward county teacher card since I’m not a Parkland resident. At the children’s desk Debbie told me I couldn’t have a card because I don’t live in Parkland. I then explained to her what the lady at the main desk and told me that because I teach in Parkland I could get a card. All I wanted was a few books for my grandson. When she was overridden by her boss,, she threw the pen at me the slid the card across the counter at me with no words. I was not impressed with her customer service. However, our experience ended up on a better note. Jan helped us pick out some perfect fit books for Parker. She was as helpful and sweet as she could be.
