Disappointing Experience at Express - Pembroke Lakes Mall
I came all the way to this store and went to the sales section. There was a rack labeled “Tees & Tanks $10,” so I picked three items from that rack. I tried them on and then went to the register to pay. When checking out, I was told that one of the shirts I chose was there by mistake and that it actually cost more than $10.
I explained that this was not my fault—I simply picked from the designated rack—and that I expected them to honor the $10 price since it was their mistake, not mine. The cashier understood but told me she couldn’t adjust the price. I then spoke with the store manager on Sunday, February 16, at 2:10 PM, but she gave me the same response.
I find it completely unfair that they refused to take responsibility for their own error. This is not the kind of customer service I would expect from Express, and it left me very disappointed.

I have been going to this express for many years and this is the first bad customer service I have ever received from the manager (Raven). The manager has poor communication skills and very dismissive with my concerns. She acted very nonchalant . She walked away immediately from the conversation after she completed her sentenced, hoping I would leave without anymore questions. I am very unhappy costumer. If this manager is in the building she will not help!

Went on a Wednesday night, there was barely any people in the store. I asked if I could get one of the dressing room open and the lady on the cash register said someone was coming and no one came. Waited over 10 minutes and left without even trying any clothes.

Something is actually wrong with the manager at this location. Couldn't believe how she was treating customers that were making a return. Definitely not providing an exceptional guest experience. Will not be back to this location. When someone like her is running the place, it kills the friendly and inviting atmosphere.

On Monday 03/18 I experienced the worst customer service. I arrive at the register with 15 items to return. I wanted to do it per transaction, However, the associate insisted that I had to give her all the items in order to return. I was trying to explain I wanted to do separate transactions however, she insisted that I have to give her all the items. When I arrived I felt she was not having a good day just by the way she was talking to me. She wouldn’t let me talk and explain what I wanted to say, she walked away and said let het me know when I’m ready. At one point she told me do you want my help yes or no? And then said “im not talking to you” Without letting me talk. This was unbelievable, never did I experience something like that. She is very rude and unprofessional. All this time she directed to me with an attitude and kept calling me mama. I asked if someone else can help me, she said no, and that she was the manager. Then, she said, do you want my help yes or no? She took my items and only return six items. When I ask for her name she said that she couldn’t give that information to me. When she was in front of me, I call customer service at express and at that moment she grabbed her phone And call someone. She returned one of the item I didnt want to, and right after she did it I asked her if she can reverse the transaction since it was recently, and she said no. I knew that was a lie, because it was done in the past. I was putting a complaint against her but I didn’t know her name then all of a sudden she stopped what she was doing at the register and she went to the back and left all my 15 items on her register and only return six. She left me Without explaining me anything, and keep me mind she kept my 15 items. Then, she came out of the back and left the store without saying anything, super unprofessional. At that moment, I had another 2 associate David and Gabriel come and help the mess she left us. They were so nice to me and were able to help me with the rest despite the fact that the system went down, these two guys were never rude or unprofessional. These should not be acceptable in a store like express, we pay enough money for the clothe they should at least take time to hire the right associates. Im so disappointed that she is a manager and had 0 customer service to offer. Keep reading all the comments and if you are the store mananger of Pembroke Lakes mall express, you know who she is, apparently, I’m not the only one doing a review about her horrible service.

Went last week to return some items I had purchased on line. I’m a frequent buyer and I have returned stuff before to the store with no issues. That day that I went I had a horrible experience, the store had just opened and it’s not like they were super busy. I made my line and waited for my turn like I always do. It was my turn to go up to the register and they told me they couldn’t find my account. I have never had this experience before so I said ok let me go out of the store because my account wasn’t pulling up on my phone. I went outside of the store and I was able to retrieve my information. I went back in the store and made my line AGAIN and waited for my turn, when I approached the lady in the register she flips the computer screen around with an attitude and tells me “ I told you I couldn’t find your account” I said wow relax and please call your manager. She proceeded to tell me that she was the manager. I asked for her name I told her she didn’t have to be so rude, that I shop at this store all the time, the store had just opened so it’s not like she was tired from a long day, even if she was tired that’s NOT a way to treat a customer. The manager name was Sally F., what a horrible experience I had and I was just trying to get the correct size since I had bought some clothes to wear for my birthday.

Clothes are just as worthless as their workers and customer service. They refused to refund me even though it was within the time limit after the holidays. Then the guy at the register couldn't find me in their system even though I've been shopping here for years. He called customer service then I was transfer to a supervisor then immediately hung up on. No one tried calling back and the guy didn't know what to do.

I love the store and the clothes are amazing. I have been client for years and many more!I love to buy online because the store I have close to my home is a nightmare.It is the second time I go to Express in Pembroke Lakes mall to return small items and the manager, who was working as a cashier the both times, is super unfriendly.She has an attitude all the time I go there even when the only words we exchange is for the return process. Looks like she doesn’t like what she does, never has a smile in her face or a friendly gesture or word. And never she replies me back when I thank her for the process.It is the WORST customer service I ever had in my life.I hope this review helps to change her attitude and provides a satisfactory customer service.

The (Westland store) this place was a total mess unfortunately the day we visited. It seemed they were short staff and they had alot of new merchandise that needed to be hung up. I would recommend not opening the store until it is presentable for the customers.The manager there always looks uptight and she is never friendly. Unapproachable!
