Beware of a Rep Sean K,
He is Deceptive and refuses to listen to the customer ( you) taking it upon himself to make changes to your reservation even as you stand in front of him saying No changes, No extra days are needed, No No No repeatedly, adding extra days on my reservation anyway and he's adding 2 extra days to be on the safe side with safe move insurance for each extra day as well then begins assuring you that if I return my rental early I WILL BE CREDITED to method of payment.
Come to find out THIS IS A TOTAL LIE
1. Safe ride insurance purchase is only need once per rental NOT PER DAY
2. One way rentals do not get credited fo unused days purchased
It will cost you an extra truck rental fee @ $40 per extended day I lost $80
Safe Ride cost at $15 per day cost me a loss of $30
I had to have my rental that day regardless of I would've just walked out and cancelled the whole thing.
But he ASSURED ME I would be CREDITED BACK TO MY CARD on the days not used,
I believed him so i paid signed the agreement.
I mean it sounded logical, I never had this issue with UHAUL before and I have rented from them for many years.
The next day I returned my rental (In less than 24 hrs
But I find out I would not get Any Credit
Of course this angered me so I have filed a complaint with UHAUL against the Rep who's deceit Cost me to lose over $100.
I DO NOT TOLERATE LIES, DECEIT OR BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF
I have a Suggestion for UHAUL unrelated to deceitful employees that represent them
First the given 79 miles on a one way rental it should be taken into consideration the milage from rental pickup location to the location where move will begin and add that in the given miles.
I had to drive slightly more than 11 miles to begin my load to move sending me over the 79 miles and should not have to pay for those extra miles that had nothing to do with loading location and I loading location.
It may be just $1 for every mile over the 79 on a one way rental but give us a little break.
You use to be so much better and seems your running close to being like Budget Rental.
Don't be them please.
I do not recall having this problem at all on any move in the last 9 years and that's been many.
My future advice is to do all online,the checkin prior to pickup and check out on returns with your phone.
Avoid what could be a costly mistake from dealing with a "Live Person"

It was nice to be able to get a rental so quickly since I moved and needed a larger vehicle to buy furniture and the price tag sounded good for a few hours. However, no mileage is included in the rental and even after paying for mileage you have to return the vehicle with the same amount of gas of when you rented it. There is also an upsale to add U-Haul's extended insurance. U-Haul needs to reevaluate their policy for short term round trip rentals. Sadly, I may not use this service in the future.

Pretty good service generally, especially for propane, but the place needs to seriously rethink their phone system. Here I am, trying to determine if they're open on the day following the "Blizzard of '25" and after the the phone rings for a while, a recording says all of their associates are busy. Consequently, I assume they're open and drive out there only to find that their associates are not busy. They're not there. Pretty pitiful if customers can't even determine if they're open before driving out there. Am I unreasonable to think they're open? Target is open. Publix is open. Wouldn't a business selling propane be open when there are sub-freezing temperatures expected for the next three nights?

My reservation was changed on me and I wasn’t made aware of the changes until the day before my cross country move. No one made any effort to reach out to me and let me know about these changes, the only reason I found out is because I called to confirm the truck reservation, as it was starting to get last second and I was worried that something was wrong. I made a reservation for a 10’ truck weeks ago, and apparently one is not available within a 50 mile radius, or so I’ve been told. So I was “upgraded” to a larger truck that I don’t need, which is more annoying to drive, and which has worse gas mileage. When I expressed these concerns, I was told it was a free “upgrade” and that’s all that could be done. Costing me more money on gas is not an upgrade, and I was not offered any compensation for the extra money I will now be spending on gas.

There were three noteworthy employees at this location:
1. Sean was a saving grace when it came to installing a hitch on our Honda! He let me know ahead if time of what his work schedule was since he was the only one able to do the maintenance. Then penciled us in last minute the next day! Professional and courteous!
2. Isaiah was expeditious with completing our reservation on the day of pick up. He installed our 4x9 trailer and briefed us on good towing practices before heading off.
3. Cybreuna was the people's champ later in the day. After packing up our 26' truck I needed to come back to get the auto trailer installed. I did not have knowledge on how to do so. Even though it was at the end of her shift, she stayed to ensure that we felt comfortable operating each part of the rigging system to secure out car for towing.
The only issue was we got charged for a utility dolly and did not receive it. After getting home I forgot we had one in the shed, so it was not needed. Due to our time crunch I did not have time to get this rectified before moving out of state.
