“We came on a Sunday and it was packed. We got lucky and were at the right place at the right time, and got sat by an old familiar face. I hope I'm not getting it wrong, but his name was AJ or CJ, I apologize to him. He used to work at a pizzeria in the gables, that's where I know him from. Anyways, 1st time in and the burgers were no joke!! Just a beautifully executed burger, with just the right amount of everything, and simply one of the best burgers I ever had. My girl had the Vaca Frita steak, or at least that's what I believe the cut was. It was butter tender, with a fantastic beef flavor, and just shined! So I really like this spot, and I will be making part of my monthly rotation of Must-Go places from now on.”

“I Bought Some (3) Ribeye Steaks, and A Couple of Racks of Chuck Flanken Style Short Ribs, and A Pound Of 16-20 Count, Argentinian Red Shrimp ?, On Last Wednesday , October 16, 2024. The Friendly,Owner, Very Nice Cuban Lady, 32 Years in the USA, Was Very Friendly and Helpful. As Of Today, I Have Prepared and Eaten the Chuck Short Ribs, and 2 Of The Beautiful Ribeye Steaks. I Must Say That The Ribeye Steaks, Are Some of The Most Delicious and Beautifully Well Marbled Steaks That I Have Eaten in A Long Time.
I Have Not Eaten the Large Argentinian X-Large Red Shrimp, As Of Yet. Thank You So Very Much, Familia Meat Market; and I Will Be Back For More Of Your Quality Meats, Shrimp, and Chorizo Sausages, Thank You, Again... Sincerely, Arnold J Wall, Miami Customer...”

He (didn’t get the name of the front desk gentleman) took the time to guide us through the menu and all of our options, he helped us pick our steaks and even gave us really good advices on how to cook them. “Ricky’s is our go to meat market since discovering it. From churrasco and chorizo for the grill, to the best smoked pork chops, to jamón serrano and cheeses, or tail and bone for soups. They also have spices and seasonings. Everything is much better priced than going to any supermarket.
Also, the people are great, especially Jose!”
“Good people, fast unloading, don’t show up early, no place to park, they have to load their local delivery trucks in the morning before they can get to you, usually after 9:00 am.”

“Remember this face and name "Shettleton" the next time you want the best customer service and cuts of meat. Pinecrest Milam's was my fourth and final stop after visiting and calling three other butchers. I was either told they did not have a small size of brisket or tried to sell me on another cut of meat altogether. Frustrated, I headed over to Milam's. They have everything and are always helpful. As soon as I walked up to meat counter, I was politely greeted by Shettleon. He listened patiently and asked all the right questions. I described exactly what I had in mind. He asked me to give him a moment. When he returned, in his hands was the most beautiful brisket. The size and description were exact as though I had showed him a picture. He is wonderful. :). Thank you also to the gentleman waiting in line for his helpful cooking tips.”
