We switched three weeks ago when Spectrum became very expensive. WOW installation is handled by subcontractors with no adequate supervision. Customer service is a nightmare with polite English-is -a second-language people reading from a script. Fighting through their telephone tree today was very maddening. Not only did I have to listen to ads regarding WOW's wonderful service but they added an advertisement for medical alert devices. Talk about treating a customer as dirt! Their internet service when working is good but unexplained cutouts are frequent and remain a problem. Their installation and repair is definitely third grade.

Not very happy with the service I was told when I signed up for it the first 30 days was free Spring if I liked it I would start being billed after that 5 days after they installed it they sent me a bill for $60 And then turnaround sent me another bill for $70 Should I stay with T-Mobile let's hassle called to speak to someone about it and the people were very rude and disrespectful over the phone

Today was my first day using WOW and I have had issues all day from loosing internet too the phones not working. I am running several paid promotions for my business, Spending $100's on adds. Only for people can not call me because my phone line keeps dropping. I also can not complete my computer work because I keep loosing internet. Not off to a good start. I am seriously thinking I made the wrong decision switching to WOW. If they are able to fix my network, I will change my review. But as of now, wow's service sucks.

I had WOW for over a year, wasn't overly impressed. When I received an offer for a much better deal to change providers, I was beyond shocked that WOW said they had to charge me $100 for canceling because I didnt give them 30 days notice of my cancelation. Extremely upset, this is ridiculous!!! Who gives an internet company 30 days notice of canceling, seriously????? You will NEVER get my business back. You lost that opportunity in the future, and shame on you!UPDATE: as you see below WOW replied and told me to chat with them so they can review this issue. AS SOON AS I EXPLAINED IN THE LIVE CHAT WHY I CONTACTED WOW THEY HUNG UP/ ENDED CHAT!WOW, YOUR PISITIVE SOUNDING RESPONSES TO NEGATIVE REVIEWS ARE FOR SHOW....YOU DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO RESOLVE ISSUES!!!!!!

If i could rate this company 0 stars i would. The worse internet by far that i have ever used. It is literally slower than my grandma on a walker. I rather go to mcdonald's and use their internet... to say that a fast food chain restaurant has better internet than yall should be sad. Yall have to get it together please. There's no freaking way that we have to pay for poor connection every month. I am not the only person feeling this way. YOUR INTERNET IS TRASH

I have been with WOW since the very beginnings in Knoxville TN. They have become extremely incompetent. Cable & internet service are horrible, Since out-sourced, communication with customer service has been a nightmare, language barrier. Our internet drops out several times a day. We call almost daily. At one time I would have highly recommended WOW but not now.

I have had to call them repeatedly for my service. They got it wrong on install. They have been back 3 times. They suck, avoid and go with higher cost Spectrum. Total rink dink service

Horrible service. Internet is spotty at best even when paying for premium package. Devices get disconnected at least once a day. Customer service is just as bad. Rep entered my card information wrongly for autopay and there was no communication payment did not go through until we woke up one morning to find out we had been disconnected and it would take SIX HOURS for the service to reboot. On the best days it's a minor headache. On the worst it's unusable. Do not use. I'll be using the visa gift card they send after 3 months to cancel the service and pay another provider to come out.

I was sent here by a phone rep who advised me i would be able to speak with someone about the timeline of switching my router, which was not working. When i got there it was simply tubs outside where people could drop off equipment, with no one around. Absolutely not helpful to my cause. Had to call back to wow to get further assistance.

I don’t have this service, and never will now. They’ve been digging, marking, painting every 4 ft of a sidewalk, painting my grass, and digging in my yard for the last 6 months on and off. They’ve cut my internet lines to my house when they first started digging, They managed to hit a main water line the next street down from us, and now hit another main water line on our street today. We’ve had no water for 6 hours in my household. No explanation, no timeline. From a service provider no one’s requested to be here in the first place. We will be on a boil water alert for 48 hours after it’s repaired whenever that may be. Great way to market to a neighborhood, well done ?

This company is trash, they sent me a router under someone else’s account after I opted to do a self set up.They said they had to schedule a technician to come and replace my router and set it up for me.I made two appointments and each time no one showed up to my apartment. They already curated a bill and refused to credit my account for any time I did not have service. Here’s the kicker, I cancelled my account and never had service, I took my credit card off of the autopay to ensure they could not charge me, and low and behold they managed to charge that credit card any way even after it was deleted from the account.THEY ARE STEALING YOUR INFORMATION AND MONEY. I have reported them with my bank as fraud because WOW has told me they cannot refund me the money.CONSUMERS BEWARE!

It’s cheap and doesn’t go out that often. Iva had them for 6 months and have experienced 4 outages. My main problem is getting no where near the speeds that were advertised. I pay for 1.2gig speeds and get 600mbps. Sure it’s half the competitors price but you get half of what you paid for.

They up charge customers for living in a community. They were charging me $20 more per month for internet service than what their website rage page says simply because I live in a community. They were giving our community of over 600 homes a discounted group rate for basic cable service. Once Wow was bought out by YouTube they decided to give us the middle finger by charging us all full price. YouTube clearly doesn't need or want our money. I'm old enough to remember when businesses valued their customers for their loyalty.

Going on two weeks they can't even get the computers switched correctly. On apt. #s. Four appointments still no internet. Had a guy Warren here today great guy..nothing on him, besides that got to hang ups never a single call back. Supposedly tomorrow it will be there last day and the if nothing going to spectrum. Customers don't matter apparently. Any remaining balance they can eat it. So disappointed.

Have been a customer for 2 years now. The price and customer service beats Spectrum hands down. When the free modem offer expired they extended it for another 12 months without hesitation. When I tried that with Spectrum it was tough luck Charlie. That's when I switched to WOW. Very satisfied customer
