We can’t handle anymore abuse from this bank. Over 30 years with BBT and I can’t believe how horrible this bank is and I’ve been banking at this branch for over 10 years. I can’t get cash from ATM, make a deposit, or deposit after hours because the ATM is full. How is this bank still in business? Don’t they have ANY accountability? I called and emailed corporate, including the VP over the entire country and it does matter what you say or do they will not change. We have a loan to clear up with them and when it is paid off we will dust our feet and walk away and never look back.

Horrible. Opened an account with them NINE days ago. The branch manager was very rude as if I, the customer, was a huge inconvenience to him. Was never given an account number, took seven days to finally get a debit card, can't set up online banking because it says I "already have an account" and have to use that sign in...I've never set up an account. I tried "recover account" but the system rejected my correct information as invalid. Spend an hour on the phone with India only to be told "according to public records your information is invalid." So still no access to my checking account. Local branch won't even answer their phone. Worst banking experience I've had. You've been warned!

Don't use Truist if you enjoy having access to your money. Use them if you enjoy having your time wasted. Buckle up, this one is a ride.My debit card was set to expire at the beginning of September. I got the notice that they were sending a new one. September came, and I had no card. So, I requested replacement. The day the replacement arrived, a notice that the first replacement had been returned as non deliverable.. they were in the mailbox together.I went to activate my new replacement card, and it wouldn't activate. I called Truist's support number, and they told me that it was because of the return that the replacement couldn't be issued. And they'd issue me a new card in... 5-7 business days.Fast forward, the new card came, I activated it and reset the PIN on the card. I then sent a few hours setting all of my monthly payments and subscriptions back up on the new card.TURNS OUT, THEY SENT ME A CARD FOR AN ACCOUNT THAT WASNT MINE- IT WAS A FAMILY MEMBER'S.Once we realized this (after all of the subscriptions and monthly payments came out of NOT my account,) I called them to get the issue fixed. They then had the audacity to try and charge me $30 to expedite me a new card for supposedly the correct bank account. It's now almost October, and I still don't have a working card for my bank account.

Have been here multiple times and the people at the desks are either rude or don’t know how to do their jobs. They couldn’t update my name on my accounts (they told me they did it and waited months and it never updated) then another time they proceed to scold me that I did something wrong in regards to mailing a check. The worst customer service.

This bank is absolutely horrible. In order to simply pay my loan, I must wait 30+ minutes while one teller is servicing 15 people. The customer service it terrible and the only expression you see by any customer is that of disappointment. Management is also below average. Do not expect them to return any calls. On top of that they will try everything in their power to find a way to not have to service you by pointing you to an atm or coming up with random “rules” that end up being disputed by their corporate office. Time to pay off this loan and get out!

Since the merger, I had SunTrust prior, there has been a significant decline in customer service. I've had to have corrections made to my account several times. I am extremely unhappy with the outcome of the merger

Sat in the drive thru 5 mins no one moved so decided to come in. One guy is working drive thru and inside window! 3 other employees doing whatever but sure aren’t making sure their customers are getting good service! Actual young guy who helped me when I got to the window was super nice and helpful but seriously they need to get it together!

If you have any intention of ever using an ATM, this is not the bank for you. It is consistently down, and nothing seems to ever be done about it. Forget holidays because you definitely will not be able to use it then and there is no option for you to be able to use another ATM without paying full charges to both banks. it seems like someone in the bank would notice that money is not being taken out of or added to the ATM.

Four of my accounts were fraudulently accessed… to say the least I was distressed and concerned. Susanna calmly helped me at the very end of the day like I was her only customer. She is also taken care of me and my daughters previously in a professional and courteous matter. She is the epitome of professionalism and courtesy.

Every truist branch i go to there is issues. Sitting in the lobby I got skipped. Definitely closing my account. I couldn't get a medallion seal while bb&t was merging. Don't use this bank for anything other than simple checking. Don't ever use this account as part of a portfolio or while going through probate

Today after a scorching 10 hour day in the Florida heat, my truck decided to “break down” conveniently in the ATM drive at the bank. People were coming up behind me and honking. I was stuck. Fortunately, a Truist employee named Chris called me on the speaker thing, heard what was going on, and came outside to see if he could help. In seconds he knew exactly what was wrong and temporarily fixed the problem for me, allowing me to drive off. Chris, if you’re reading this, I am beyond appreciative for you coming out to help me. I can’t thank you enough. Truist, if you’re reading this, Chris deserves some recognition. Polite, well spoken, and smart. Give this man a promotion!

ATM always full and can never make any deposits later in the day as I’m not able to go early in the day. The drive thru area SUCKS!!!!!! It’s way to small for the amount of vehicles that go thru. I’m currently looking for a new bank

Worst customer service I’ve ever received in my life. This bank doesn’t care about their CUSTOMERS at all. Do yourself a favor and bank somewhere else, somewhere the bankers are respectful, caring, and know what they’re doing. Bunch of idiots at this branch, and every time I deal with them, whether it’s in person or on the phone. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I’m going to this time. They earned it. I’m going to tell EVERYONE I ENCOUNTER throughout my day what an awful bank this is, and to bank somewhere else. I’m going to be really petty about this, that’s how much I hate this bank.Switched banks last week. Peace out!!! ✌️

Came into the new Truist. After being a business customer for 20 years and I have a personal account through them , you would think they would treat you with alittle warmth. Nope, not Sally, my teller I had today. She wasn't even friendly. It's sad .

Was a SunTrust customer for many years my wife and I were primer members. Truist took over BB&T and SunTrust so there were 3 branches truist could pick from. We now have no safety deposit boxes which we had for years. We go in the bank they had 5 tellers, but only 2 office personal helping with accounts. Took 45 minutes for them to deal with the 2 customers. They were helping when we walked in, problem was there were 3 people ahead of us. I really think Truist made a very poor choice in the bank they picked to keep open. Then you take all the people from 3 banks and only have 2 customer service people. If this happens more than a couple of times. I'll find another bank.
