“I like Publix very much, just for their customer service. And this one has a great hot bar - I'd actually drive past my neighborhood's Publix & go out of my way & brave A1A traffic to come to the Sawgrass Village location just for the hot bar. Unfortunately, it's gotten VERY popular with a lot of the work crews in the area - so popular that the last 3 or 4 trips it's pretty much out of everything. I've even gone shopping in the store, come back 20 minutes later, and it's still bare. I wish the Publix near my place had a hot bar. (PS - lunch time parking can also be an adventure with many big work crew trucks parked across several parking spots.)”

“Publix has become the leading name in the supermarket field here in the southeast. Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeastern United States. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals, and we can never forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way, it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities where Publix opens a location are very grateful for a Publix opening by them.This particular Publix location has a welcoming ambiance and the usual professional staff.I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location for that matter and I give it five stars.”

“UPDATE: the owner wrote me back after this review and offered a full refund, as you can see below. While I am no longer in the area (was previously visiting on vacation), I really respect this gesture and will certainly visit Nary’s again the next time I am in the area!Purchased a few bottles of good Cali wine (Ridge Zinfandel and Ravenswood Syrah were two of them) and did not check the year on them until I got back and opened them up. Two were from 2005 and one was from 2006. One had an artificial cork and opened but had completely turned to vinegar. The other two had natural corks and they completely disintegrated when trying to open them. I tried to run them through a strainer and salvage them both but they also were long gone.Selling wines of this age and at full price is bad business and honestly borderline fraudulent, though I hate to speculate on the intentions of the owner. Hopefully they will pull these wines from the shelf so that nobody else has to dump $55 of wine down the drain.”
