“Stopped in with a friend on a Saturday evening. The ambiance is very nice, and we did not have to wait to be seated. We both got mocktails we enjoyed. I got the shrimp and grits (which is my go to pretty much if a restaurant has them on the menu) and this was by far one of my favorites in Jax! I would definitely come back for this dish alone.”

“Shad Liquor is my one and only "Go To Place", for anything I need! Steve, the owner, is a one-of-a-kind great guy, friendly, outgoing and makes sure that they never run out of anything I typically pick up there, so I never have to worry whether or not I will be able to get what I came for. The rest of the staff are great as well and treat you like family. Selection is fabulous, and if you need something very particular, you can ask, and Steve will make sure he gets it and has it for you. Absolutely love the place and would recommend to anyone!”

It's gets busy, long lines especially on Friday. Beating the lines down could be better.
Sometimes they have displays and tasting sessions with the various vendors in this large liquor field. It's a but on the cluttery side. If it's unclear, this isn't good. Especially if it's busy.
The cheese section used to be good now it's lousy ? most of its markdowns anyways.
Also, be attentive about the discount items I've been charged full price when it's been marked down. Staff are helpful in correction. ?”

“Good people. A bit over MSRP on the normal bourbon like buffalo, but they have it which is important. Secondary prices on the top shelf bourbon. Taylor, Blanton, eagle, stagg.....but they have it. If you argue price in those, they stay professional. Once again, good people. I buy my normals from them, and occasionally pay secondary for an occasion. Why pay secondary you ask? Because they have it”

And we got pictures to boot. ?Nice, very friendly staff.Clean store. Well-stocked. Great variety. And it's a drive-thru too - very clutch.Overspent but I'm very happy with what I got.And I was drunker than cooter brown. ?”
