“Absolutely phenomenal. We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Riverside Liquors & The Restaurant, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the warm ambiance to the outstanding food and service, everything was top-notch.
The interior atmosphere is charming, intimate, and full of character. While the entrance may appear to be just a liquor store, the restaurant in the back feels like a hidden gem. It's stylish yet comfortable, perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions.
We were warmly greeted and taken care of by Annabelle, who made our night unforgettable. Her kindness, attention to detail, and genuine enthusiasm added something special to the evening. She took time to walk us through the menu and offered great recommendations with a smile.
The food was exceptional. I had the shrimp and grits, which were creamy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. My wife chose the red snapper, which was fresh, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. The quality of ingredients and care in preparation was evident in every bite.
We had heard from several friends that this was one of the best spots in Jacksonville, and now we agree. The pricing is competitive, the service is outstanding, and the full bar has a great selection. It truly offers an elevated experience in a relaxed setting.
We will absolutely be returning and will be recommending Riverside Liquors & The Restaurant to everyone we know.”

“I just recently got into bourbon. Saw online that this place was a good place to shop. Went there on 04/18/26 to get a few new bottles for my birthday. Lots of parking, well lighted inside (went around 4pm). A very very nice Lady by the name of Nary hope I spelled it right. Asked if I needed help. Told here what I was looking for, told here I like sweet smooth bourbons so far. She pointed me to a few good bottles, let me taste a few store picks. Was just a great amazing time. I live in ST. Augustine and will go back no matter what. They have a new bourbon customer for life. Everyone should go there for bourbon and any other needs. THANK YOU SO MUCH NARY!!!!!”

You're going to find that something you're not even looking for - in red! If you're an event thrower, you're going to find cool serving stuff, unique shape cups, small gold shape spoons, organic unique flavor teas, etc.. You have to see some of the stuff they have.”

“The customer service at this location has just blown me away. I requested a liquor a few months ago that I have not been able to find and I got a call about a week ago that they have not been able to find me that specific liquor but they found an alternative and wanted to let me know it was in store. I could not believe that my request that honestly I had completely forgotten about was not lost to them and that they had been trying for me for months. If that isn’t above and beyond I don’t know what is. All I can say is Shores has a customer for life now with me. You don’t see this type of customer service anymore, outstanding ?”
