“Walked in with a 50-year-old Northern Lights generator starter acting like it had one foot in the grave and the other on vacation. Figured I was about to get hit with the classic “yeah… you need a whole new starter” speech.
Nope.
These guys actually diagnosed it. Confirmed the solenoid was toast, cross-referenced it like pros, and—here’s the wild part—had one sitting on the shelf. Just like that. No waiting, no guessing, no parts roulette.
Saved me from tossing a perfectly good starter just because one piece gave up. That’s how it should be done. Fix it, don’t junk it.
And while I’m standing there feeling like I just dodged a financial torpedo, I notice they carry Deka Batteries too… which, if you know, you know—solid stuff.
Good people, know their trade, and they’re keeping the “repair it right” mindset alive. Hard to find that these days.
