“Duralast battery in my wife's vehicle started going bad. I drove it there thinking it would be prorated and I would pay for remainder of battery life and core deposit, then bring old one back. While being checked out, an employee (Jack S.) grabbed a new battery and a tool cart asking where my vehicle was parked. I told him that's OK, I can change it out when I get home. I was informed that in was policy to do the change out with new for the bad one. I then discovered that the new battery was No Charge for a full replacement and the install. what a great experience!!”

Nope.
These guys actually diagnosed it. Confirmed the solenoid was toast, cross-referenced it like pros, and—here’s the wild part—had one sitting on the shelf. Just like that. No waiting, no guessing, no parts roulette.
Saved me from tossing a perfectly good starter just because one piece gave up. That’s how it should be done. Fix it, don’t junk it.
And while I’m standing there feeling like I just dodged a financial torpedo, I notice they carry Deka Batteries too… which, if you know, you know—solid stuff.
Good people, know their trade, and they’re keeping the “repair it right” mindset alive. Hard to find that these days.

I felt extremely bad bc I was not carrying cash to give him a tip. I didn't want to take a chance and drive my car out in the rain. So Dude is such a gentleman and I will come back to give him his tip.”

We stopped into Port Charlotte's *AutoZone* to grab wiper blades for our truck, Sunday 3-15-26 while heading to Arcadia.
The sky= DARK, thunder/lightning HITTING Far off: looked like the storm would break open where we were headed over in Arcadia any moment. That’s when Kyle, Auto Zone employee, went above + beyond! Yes, Auto Zone installs wiper blades, But Kyle came right out, smiling~ Super ready to help.
He installed the blades quickly, even showing me how to do so... making my later afternoon
completely EZ– never once did Kyle hesitate or attitude. I was so grateful Kyle stepped out to lend a hand, w/ such kind attitude. Without his help, driving that stretch of Kings Highway in heavy rain would have been a white‑knuckle NIGHTMARE; these March storms have been as bad as the summer ones!!!!
Kyle’s customer service, professional demeanor, kindness truly stood out. (husband has dementia: moves slow, gets lost finding restroom: thank You for helping him) Huge thanks to **Kyle + the P.
