“About a year and a half ago, I was having problems with my electrical system in my car and couldn't figure out the source of the short or how to find it never mind fix it. I brought my car in for an oil change and didn't mention the electrical problem. They called to tell me they found some electrical wiring had been chewed through (rats nest forming somewhere near the engine underneath the hood) and fixed it. That solved my electrical problem and the charge to fix it was extremely reasonable to boot. “Had a screw in my front passenger tire. I stopped in and they told me it would be about 30 minutes before they could give me an assessment. Waiting room was so so. Looks like they were doing some repairs, maybe from Hurricane Ian damage. Overall place was neat and clean. Anyway, about 20 minutes after I sit down they tell me "I"m a lucky guy!" The screw was in a part of the tire that would not have been repairable. It did not puncture anything. No charge! Just asked me to think about them next time. You know what? That's a great business model - honest and thinking about good customer service. I will definitely go back!”

“I hate having to deal with automotive services and repairs, but the needs of my car overshadowed my distaste. I was referred to A&E Auto Repair by another shop who felt my car needed services he could not accommodate. What a wonderful chance that he referred me to A&E.I was greeted warmly and throughly explained what they could do to help me. Adam and Sheila, at the front desk, put me at ease making the diagnostic appointment for just days later.When I arrived for the appointment again I was greeted, by name, which was pleasant. . They asked if there was anything else they could do to assist me, and I mentioned I needed an oil change…no problem and while they had it up on the rack, they could also rotate my tires for a very small fee.. Bravo!While the mechanics worked on my car, I spent my time in a very comfortable A/C waiting lounge, with excellent WIFI, cold water, coffee and plenty of magazines.When my diagnostic was complete, their staff had found the issue, and they gave me a couple suggestions and price quotes. Their proposal also included photographs of each area they checked. It was easy to understand, and easy to see the area they were referring to.I still have to decide how extensive I want to get with the repairs, but there was no pressure.It is wonderful to have this kind of experience doing something I normally dread.
