“Stopped into Duren’s Piggly Wiggly while in the area and found a clean, easy-to-navigate grocery store with a classic local feel. The store is spacious, well organized, and has that small-town supermarket personality that’s becoming harder to find.
The bakery and deli areas were especially noticeable, with plenty of prepared items and desserts available. One fun touch was the bakery signage and overall presentation, which gave the store some character instead of feeling purely corporate.
Unlike Publix, they don’t sell fresh key lime pies from the bakery, so we picked one up from the freezer section instead. It looks like they do sell key lime pie filling if you’d rather make your own at home, which is a nice option depending on what you’re looking for.
Overall, a solid local grocery stop with a friendly, relaxed vibe and good selection. Worth a visit if you’re nearby.”

“They have almost everything you'll need and they offer a good selection of groceries and other things for your beach stay as well. They were a little busy but with it being a game day and a holiday weekend it's not anything unexpected. Staff was helpful and friendly.”
“Wow, what a selection for a Dollar General. We were pleasantly surprised by the name brand selections they did have and the pricing was great. They have most everything you will need for a Vacation stay. The general Markey is a great concept for rural areas, if DG can keep presentable like this one was, I can see this going a long way.”
“Best place ever. They have gas and treats and snacks. You can get sandwiches or you can get monster energy drinks. Or you could get Cheetos or you could get Fritos or you could get Lay's potato chips. Or if you wanted to, you could even get an alcoholic beverage. I don't want any of alcoholic beverages but I saw someone else buying some. Hopefully they're going to wait till they get home before they drink any of them. I'm sure they will. They look really responsible. Anyway, this store was great”

“Such a great vibe and super cool, friendly staff. Always available to help and offer and helping hand. We’ve come here 2 years now and scallop cove is always a close place we love to come back to. The Wine ? slushy was a hit too! Ty for the awesome memories.”
