“This is a typical Family Dollar Tree. The prices are lowering than your traditional mainstream grocery stores. It is clean, well stocked, and the employees appear competent to realize your waiting to check out. The customer service appears commensurate with the pay. All in all it's a convenient, priced better alternative if they carry what your looking for.”

“I love this store. It reminds me of a mini Wal-Mart. They have practically everything you need, in a much smaller building, making it ALOT quicker to get in and get out. Prices aren't much different either. Cashier's are friendly and the store was clean.”

“I love the Dollar Tree and really love the cleanliness and organization of the Punta Gorda store. I want to give a shout out to Dawna for making my day! I was looking for these beautiful seasonal planter pots and she took it upon herself to look in the truck load of boxes for me. Three cheers to Dawna and your friendly employees!!!”

“Despite the run on toilet paper and other paper products/ necessities, there were still good deals to be found. Staff was courteous and helpful also. Store was clean and organized with all the items in stock.”

“Came in today to get some household essentials and when I walked in I was greeted by a very nice woman. Continued my shopping and as I was going to check out she came and assisted me right away. Very kind, personable, with an amazing personality. She treated me very kindly. Even assisted with loading my cart with my items. I have to say this was a great experience and she made my day much better. (She is from Kentucky, I don’t remember her name) However, I have to say that she deserves recognition. Simple customer service skills like hers go a long way. Thank you for making my day with your kindness! ?”

“Always clean!!!! Shelves are organized and orderly! No boxes or big carts clogging aisles!! Management n staff are professional and proficient!!!! Always helpful! Other D/T managers should come see how the store runs successfully and take notes! I won’t go ANYWHERE else! It’s obvious which managers know their job !!!!!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4.5-Star Review – Dollar General, Punta Gorda Dollar General in Punta Gorda is a handy store with great prices and a lot of variety. You can find groceries, cleaning supplies, snacks, household items, and seasonal goods without paying big-store prices. The location is convenient and it’s easy to get in and out quickly. The only downsides: the store can get a little messy at times, with items on the floor or shelves not fully stocked, and the cashier wasn’t very helpful during my visit. A smile goes a long way, and a little more customer service would make a big difference. Even with those issues, it’s still a useful spot, especially when you need something fast. The deals are good and the store has most of what you’re looking for. I will continue shopping here, and with just a little more attention from staff, it could easily be a full 5-star location.”
