I have had poor experiences at other Labcorp locations, but the staff at the downtown Punta Gorda location is always very kind and helpful.

DO NOT GO HERE. I was new to the area. I asked the people at the front desk specifically if they accepted my insurance. They took my insurance card, scanned it, appeared to look into some system and told me that they did accept my insurance. They then completed the most painful blood draw I've ever had in my life. I then received a bill for almost $500 from them saying my insurance denied their services. Their phone number listed on the invoice sends you to an automated line with no possible way to speak to a human being. I found a feedback form on their website. Their response was that they do not accept my insurance (BCBS) and it was my fault. THEIR EMPLOYEES LIED TO ME. I am filing complaints with the BBB, state medical board, and attorney generals office. This company needs to be closed down in Florida. They are a scam with predatory actions lying to people who they believe will not retaliate against them and have to pay their exorbitant fees in cash.

I come here about 10 times per year! Bonnie is so amazing and so glad she has some extra help. I told her if she is ever having a bad day, just look up her reviews and see how many people truly appreciate her! Thanks again Bonnie

Avoid. Front desk people not helpful. Went here, gave them my insurance card and asked "do you take my insurance" she said yes, and continued to talk to her coworker about personal life. I received my bill. They did not accept my insurance (my bad I did not check before going). I have been doing the back and forth calling. Was told to have the doctors office to recode the orders. Didn't work. Called my insurance company trying to figure it out. My doctors office actually did leg work and had the bill decreased. I have letter proving it. Ummm. I received my bill with collection notice. Called and talked to the billing again, read what my letter said about it being decreased and it would take 4 to 6 weeks. Nope. It got sent to collections. I laid in full. Done. Front desk lady that had no time for me cost me close to $500. They need to be professional and leave their home life talks for breaks. Do your job.. Thank you for costing me $500.

The front desk here is extremely rude. I asked a simple question & was told it couldn't be done. So sending labs to 2 doctors that ordered that exact same bloodwork? I have to pick one to send it to?I never have had these problems in port charlotte or north port.I have 12 doctors ordering different things and shouldn't need them to send to one another when 2 were posted by 2 different doctors.Whether the same or not. They weren't exactly the same.And won't pull bloodwork for both.Ugh.Then I try to explain to lady that called me up that I'm already having troubles here and she snapped at me. I didn't say it rude or loud. I didn't cuss.I was respectful and feel I won't return to this office.Might change to quest. I've been with labcorp for over 15 years. This has never happened.

Need to hire live people to answer your phones. It is completely unacceptable for a medical facility to use artificial intelligence to answer your calls. We are not under the veil of the covid deception anymore therefore we don't need to hear about your covid procedures.

For a person working alone she is very good nurse. She can sign people in and then do blood work or what ever you need do with labs and then go to the next person. I give her five stars.

Their phone doesn't work. They don't answer, return calls. They say it's a Corporate number. They don't have a number. Google, Lab Corp website, insurance companies have the same number listed for them. So, how do Dr offices contact them? Hmm. Getting the blood work actually done was good.

There is only one staff member here. They do an AMAZING job, but one person is responsible for everything so keep that in mind when you come here. Also they do NOT do drug screenings! CLOSED NOON - 1PM!

Bonnie is amazing, my daughter is afraid of needles due to a bad experience but she is Amazing. The reason for the low stars its not her fault its Labcorp, everytime I go there is only one person running the show and its a pretty busy office. My heart breaks for Bonnie and her colleagues ? this is abuse at every level. Not only its physically and mentally exhausting the security issue its also there. Labcorp you make millions in profit stop being so stingy and care enough for your employees to be able to work in a safe environment.
