The mounts were inspected and were fine. They also told me my check engine light was on because my gas cap was loose. There was no charge for the service.”

The management team, along with the store manager, reached out to me the day after my initial concern to resolve the issue. My recent experience has left me reconsidering whether I would visit Valvoline again. It took nearly an hour to complete a routine oil change, which is much longer than usual. The technician informed me that they did not have the required oil filter in stock and offered to retrieve one from the nearby AutoZone. While I found this unusual, I assumed it must be allowed under their policy.
However, it took three different technicians to install the new filter, and eventually, the manager had to step in to complete the job. This made me question the competency of the staff involved. Having recently purchased this vehicle, I am very cautious about any potential issues, and I felt uneasy leaving the service center.
Before departing, I asked the technician to confirm that everything was in order, which he did. However, I was dismayed to see on the emailed invoice that it listed "customer-supplied oil filter," which is concerning because I did not provide the filter. The technician had purchased it from AutoZone. This notation raises serious concerns about potential liability if something goes wrong.
To make matters worse, I had my wife and two small children with me, and we sat in the car in very hot conditions throughout the delay. Despite these complications, no compensation or discount was offered. I would appreciate it if someone could contact me to address this issue, as I am extremely dissatisfied with the entire experience.”
